"Ouch... that's bad." She shook her head, sighing. "So... who's Linda?"

Scorpious looked sickened for a moment. "My third-cousin." he said. "Who my grandmother for some reason is trying to set me in an arranged marriage with."

Sienna made a face. "Arranged marriages... I really feel a person should marry who they want. There's no meaning to it otherwise. I don't understand pureblood stuff though, so maybe I'm not seeing the whole picture, but..."

Scorpious laughed. "No- no trust me, you're seeing the whole picture. that's the sad thing." he said shaking his head. "She's just.... just...." he thought for a moment. "She's like a leech." he said. "I came up with a couple spells just to keep her away form me."

Sienna thought back, and nodded. "Ah... those spells to make someone go away and such... so, is there some girl you actually are interested in, or is it just that you really don't like her?"

"A healthy mix of both." he said simply.

Sienna latched onto that. "Ooo, so you do like someone! Do I know her? Oh, wait, you wouldn't know that... okay, what house is she in? I think it's too pushy of me to ask who exactly it is, so..."

Scorpious smirked. "Look in a mirror and you'll have an answer. You've got one more question- then it's my turn."

Sienna opened her mouth... then closed it. "Wait... I'm the one you're interested in?" She didn't care if she might be wasting her last question, that had thrown her for a loop.

Scorpious shrugged. "What can I say- I'm young and impressionable." he teased lightly. "So then, my turn?" he asked sitting up.

Sienna sat back, a shocked look on her face, a blush coloring her cheeks. "Um... y-yeah, your turn..." She cleared her throat, and forced herself to calm down and focus. THe blush remained though.

"Where are you from?" he asked curiously.

"Did you know your entire life about magic, or only when you got your letter?" he asked, resting his elbow on his knee like he was about to hear a long story. He had grown up in a pur blood household, which he knew differed greatly from the majority of the Wizarding community.

Sienna smiled, sitting back a bit. "Oh, I always knew, though my parents never officially told me until I was seven. I just had a feeling at first, and then I saw daddy using magic when he thought I was in bed. When I actually got my letter, that's when daddy became more open about using magic in the house."

"It must have been amazing." he mused. "So did you attend muggles schools until you came here? Or were you home schooled?"

"Home schooled. My parents were worried I might have a bout of accidental magic, and my mother is a school teacher, so it worked out." She was still blushing a bit, but she was calmer now.

"Your mothers a teacher, so what does your father do? Seems like they wouldnt be likely to meet."

Sienna chuckled, grinning a bit. "Well, no, but my mother was already aware of magic, as her brother, my uncle, was a wizard. He and daddy were friends in school, and that's how they met. They spent more time together after my uncle died, and ended up falling in love."

"Oh." he blinked. "I see." he said. Another thought occurred to him. "So do you have any siblings?"

Sienna shook her head at that. "No, I'm an only child. Not for lack of trying though, apparently..." Sienna made a slightly disgusted face.

"Arts or Sciences?" he asked resting his temple on the back of his hand, having shifted again.

Sienna blinked in confusion. "Huh? Arts or Sciences what? Are you asking which I prefer or something?"

He laughed. "Yes, sorry." he felt silly for not elaborating. "In studies, which do you prefer?"
