| Itoshiki seemed cheered by that, while Link finally caught the scent. "Got it! Alright, lets head outside, so I can figure out which direction she went..." | |

| "Come on." Rill encouraged Itoshiki, offering catching his hand as she pulled him along, follwing Link and Midna out of the root system.
Outside it had become overcast.
Midna frowned. "Better get moving quicly. If the rain washed away the scent, we're stuck."

| Link nodded. "We already know she either went to the mountain, or that valley; north or south. I just need to figure out which it is..." He closed his eyes, taking slow, deep breaths as he moved about. He was still getting used to these stronger senses. After a moment, he nodded. "South." Upon hearing that Toriko had gone south, Itoshiki sighed.
"Valley of Oruk then... it's dangerous not only is it a charred, volcanic valley, but it's the home or Oruk, some molten beast that has killed literally everyone that's tried to pass through his territory without offering a sacrifice. Give him some people to eat, and he'll leave you alone. Most people are not that sick as to sacrifice people to him, so they get killed. The shrine there was built before he showed up, though nobody is sure how he got there. Anyway, the shrine is right in the middle of his territory." As Itoshiki continued, Link felt a headache coming on.
"Mt. Harashka is different. It was perfectly fine until about five years ago. People started disappearing on and around the mountain. The village of Shirash, about halfway up the mountain, became a ghost town, with no sign of what happened to the villagers. The shrine is on the summit."

| "Then we'll just have to take care of it ourselves." Midna said resolutely. "Shall we?" she gestured to the horses.
Ewrill frowned. "This isn't going to be easy you know." she scolded Midna for her almost cheery attitude.
The twilight princess simply shrugged. "If this were going to be easy there woudl be no need for me to be here, now would there?"

| Link climbed onto Epona, reaching down to help Midna up, while Itoshiki waited for Ewrill. "Doesn't matter if it's easy or not. It needs to be done. This 'Ner'hul' person needs to be dealt with. On top of that, I'll bet he's somehow connected to the Master Sword being stolen." | |

| "You're puzzle solving skills will never cease to amaze me." Midna teased lightly, wrapping her arms around his waist. "It would be fair to wager the sooner we find the girl, the safer she is. If your doppelganger is some how attacked to all this, and she is as well, it would make the most sense to pick off the strays." | |

| Link nodded, glancing back at Ewrill and Itoshiki. "If you're ready, let's get going. Itoshiki, how far is it to the valley?"
"Um... about five days. There should be a small village on the second day."

| "Come on." Ewrill said eying the sky wearily. "We might be able to our run this storm if we're quick." | |

| Link nodded, shifting in the saddle. "Alright. You two lead the way, we'll be right behind." He reached down patting Epona's neck. "Going for a bit of a run, girl." | |

| Ewrill whistled and kicked, taking off at a steady kanter, leading the way through the woods.

| Two days passed and they reached a small village. It was another three days travel to the Valley of Oruk, and they needed to stock up on supplies, so it worked out. Saying the village was small was being generous though. There couldn't have been more than ten buildings total. The people seemed happy enough, though, so it didn't seem to be a problem. They regarded Link and the others with curiousity, but were friendly enough. THere was a small store, and an Inn for travelers, but other than that, it was purely residential. | |

| Midna kept to her cloak. She was at least a foot taller than most of the Villagers and didn't find herself particularly fond of being stared at.
Ewrill asked around for the girl they were looking for, hoping to get some information along the way.

| Link made the decision to do the 'shopping', while Itoshiki stuck with Ewrill, seeming a bit nervous around the people of this town. He'd explained why during one of their conversations the past two days. He had a tendency to get shunned, or attacked, by others when they discovered his powers, and he didn't want that to happen again. Toriko actually had been seen in the village the night before. She'd passed through quickly, buying some food before taking off again. | |

| Midna leaned against the door jam as they reconvened before getting ready to leave. The storm had caught up and blocked off the road, meaning they would have to take a round about path.
"So, we should be able to get there in two days?" Ewrill asked Itoshiki.

| Itoshiki shook his head. "No... it was still three days travel by road... with this, it'll take even longer. Unless the storm caused Toriko to take shelter, she'll reach the valley way before us..." | |

| Ewrill sighed. "This is no good." she frowned. "If the horses toss a show in the mud we 'll be even farther behind." | |

| Link sighed, rubbing his temples. "Not really sure what to do here..." He hadn't really had to deal with something like this situation before. It was rather irritating. | |

| Midna frowned. "Looks like we just need to wait for the weather to turn." She sighed.
Ewrill blinked as an idea occured to her. "You know..." she stood up, walking over to her bags. She began rummaging through her belongings as she spoke. "My family passed down this insturment and some songs with it for a reason..."
Midna looked over boredly.

| Link glanced over at her, curious, Itoshiki doing the same. An instrument? Songs? Perhaps like the songs he'd encountered? | |

| She pulled out her ocarina and thought for a moment, trying to recall waht song did what. she only knew three that had powers.... the other songs were just nice to listen to.
Finally, she brought the flute to her lips and played a few simle notes. The Sun Song.
Outside the rain continued to pour.
Midna sighed. "Well, that was a let down."
Ewrill frowned. "Maybe I played it wrong..." she mumbled.
