YYH Next Gen(Anna only)

Hinamori just sat down suddenly when the area begin to shake. "The hell a quake?" She asked running out but she turned chalk white when she saw the source of the shaking was coming from the top of the mountain.

"Lord Yomi we have confirmation that the boy reached the top!" Called one guy down to Yomi who had come out.

"Perfect.... now we see." Said Yomi smiling and Hinamori ran up saying, "That energy who the hell is causing it! It's on the scale of an S class ranking!!"

"Just an old friend whose going to put him through his final test before I personally train the boy." Said Yomi smirking.

"You fool if the Sin's find out we're all in trouble including your stupid ass!" Yelled Hinamori.

"Hinamori have you underestimated me! Part of being a ninja also means you need to know how to raise a Kekkai and to be quite blunt there's one over this entire area including the mountain. Its purpose is to stop any energy from being sensed on the outside of it. Lord Yomi has thought of everything for our well being and safety!" Said Tsubaki.

Todd had followed his friend outside. He frowned at the mountain. "How much do you think he will raise his power, doing this?" he asked. "Realistically. We've been training all week and have hardly any real improvement in our power."

At least Hina wasn't the only one underestimating someone. He seemed to be underestimating their entire team.

"If only we could see who he is fighting at the moment..." Hinamori said with a frown. The shaking became more violent after that and suddenly it stopped and everything was still.

"Tsubaki it's over you and your team go fetch the boy now." Said Yomi.

"Yes sir!" Said Tsubaki as her and her team vanished fast.

"Himawari you and your team remain on standby for immediate medical treatment." Said Yomi.

"Of course sir." Said Himawari and she said, "Come Todd we need to prepare a bed for your friend.

After a tense thirty minute wait Hinamori just saw Tsubaki's team return with a stretcher and Lucian was on it. Lucian smiled weakly seeing Hinamori and he gave the thumbs up before he was taken into the medical tent.

After being treated he was out in a comatose like sleep so his body could heal. Seven days had gone by and he remained in a comatose state. Hinamori had gone back to her training working hard to keep her mind busy leaving him in the care of Todd and Himawari.

"Hina!" Todd called. It was mid day, the ninja working on daytime stealth. "Lucian's up." he called, his ears flicking before returning to the medical building.

"He sure can eat..." one woman blinked, having brought what was now the fifth try of food for the boy.

"He's a teenager." Todd smiled. "Did you expect anything different?" he quipped, holding the door for Hinamori. "Slow down, Lucian, or you'll give yourself the hick-ups."

Hinamori walked in and stopped short blinking seeing Lucian shove down the food quickly.

"How lacking in manners..." She said with the roll of her eyes.

"Hey there Hina man this stuff is great I haven't eaten in days!" Said Lucian as he chugged down a large bottle of water after he finished off his meal.

"Stuffed..." He said leaning back and everyone was relieved the kid was full finally.

"You seem well did you grow an inch or two Hina?" Asked Lucian with a smile.

"No and speaking of which you got taller some how..." Said Hinamori.

"Yeah I had a final growth spurt it seems aside from that according to the specialist I've bumped up to middle C class no more D for me. So my demon energy had a growth spurt with my body." Said Lucian grinning.

"You're still shorter than me it seems." Todd sat down. "How are you feeling?" He had his hair loosly pulled back and held with a leather strap now. He looked much more like a wild fox than one well kept and caged.

"Oddly enough I feel great the mountain trip sure was something." Said Lucian.

"Who was it you fought I felt quite a disturbance up there..." Said Hinamori.

"Oh they preferred to remain not named and I'm not supposed to tell. They only came out of seclusion just to help Yomi just this once and we didn't fight more like I was floored on the spot. The who point of this apparently was to see if I could physically handle the training I'll be going through." Said Lucian.

"With your thick head you'll get through anything Lucian. Just as long as your brain wasn't scrambled." Said Hinamori with a roll of her eyes.

"Even then, I think he could pull it off." Todd laughed lightly. "So, then, are you feeling up to a quick spar?"

The fox knew Lucian was always able to beat him if he put his mind to it. He was curious if maybe hehad grown a little himself after the two weeks of training.

Lucian jumped up saying, "Hell yeah but be warned I won't go easy on you fox."

"This I got to see..." Said Hinamori as she followed the two out of the tent.

Finding a clear area the two stood across from each other and Lucian grinned saying, "You make the first move Todd."

Todd raised an eyebrow. "Me? How kind." he joked.

The strawberry blond sprinted forward, his knuckles cracking as he flexed his claws. It was so unlike his usual maneuvers, no doubt it at least surprised Hina and Lucian both. He never ran in guns blazing-- so to speak.

He reached Lucian in a fraction of a second, throwing a series of kicks and swings at him, moving around him as he did, positioning himself closer to the clearings edge.

Lucian just followed every one of Todd's movements blocking every last one of his attacks. He ended up tripping up the poor guy which made Hinamori actually laugh.

Jumping back Lucian grinned and said, "Best watch your feet Todd."

Todd flipped on his hands, graceful as ever and took off after him again. "You're one to talk." He scoffed.

Roots tripped the black haired youth, allowing Todd the time to throw a small, yet bright,blue flame at him, then vanish in a flurry of leaves.

He'd learned a few new tricks by the looks of things.

He reappeared behind Lucian as he climbed back to his feet and threw a high kick, regretting the choice as his friend grabbed his ankle and sent him spiraling.

"Fox magic... flashy as always I see." Said Lucian laughing. Hinamori stayed perched up in the tree watching as the two sparred though the area shook and Lucian was flattened suddenly. The cause of the high demon energy was none other then Himawari who smiled as she just stood there seeing both them unable to move

"Boys if you're going to spar out in the open next time you need to let us know when you guys leave the camp." Said Himawari smiling sweetly.

"Jeez who is this woman!! I can't fricken move!" Cried Lucian.

Hinamori who was hanging on the tree said, "That would be Todd's teacher Lucian.

"Maybe we should show the children how it's really done hmm Hima?" Said a voice from beside the tree Hinamori was hanging onto for dear life. Tsubaki stood there and Hinamori cursed for not even sensing her.

"Sister you're predictable as always..." Said Himawari.

"Let them up for air before you suffocate the kids." Said Tsubaki and Himawari sighed and capped off her demon energy.

Lucian said up and pouted saying, "Jeez you think we need babysitters or something?"

"To be fair, you're not even of legal age yet." Todd muttered sitting up, rubbing the back of his neck.
He stood up and bowed, apologizing to his teacher.

Mid-bow-- the fox toppled, suddenly loosing consciousness.

Opa paused, blinking suddenly.
"Sinopa, what is it?" her father asked frowning.

"I... Nothing." she shook her head. "Just a sudden bad feeling is all."

"Todd!!" Said Lucian freaked out and Hinamori was down by his side in a flash. Himawari shocked got down two and checked his pulse. Tsubaki zipped out and vanished fast to get a medical team.

A couple hours later Lucian who sat outside with Hinamori was worried pacing back and forth.

"Lucian sit down you're acting like a worried mother hen we're just his friends." Said Hinamori frowning.

"Shut up this is my way of not freaking out! " Said Lucian and he looked up as Himawari came out. He sped up fast and Himawari said, "Before you open your mouth its bad but it could be worse. We found out from him personally he has long term heart issues. He's been shouldering this since he was born... By all means if he remained in the world of humans he'd be dead now. It's thanks to his demon body he's still alive."

Lucian just stood there in shock and he looked angry. Marching past her he went into the tent and saw Todd was awake. Before anyone could stop Lucian the kid clobbered Todd upside his head hard.

He was restrained but threw off the other medical staff yelling, "You got some nerve hiding this till now from us! What am I and Hina to you!! Well what are we!! Aren't we your friends! Friends don't hide things like that from each other!" Lucian then dropped down and forced himself to calm down as angry hot tears ran down his face.

"Whether it's living or dying we're doing it together if you die so pitifully from something like this I'll never forgive you!! You better fight it you hear me!" He said angry looking at Todd.

Todd stared at his friend, stunned for a moment. "I..." he frowned. "You just don't get it do you?"

The fox looked tired, but otherwise fine. "I haven't told anyone, including you and Mori because it isn't your concern. I haven't let it kill me yet and I won't in the future." he frowned. "It's not an issue, there's no reason to share that kind of information. All it is an inconvenience."

An inconvenience, and a weakness. It was only natural a demon, friend or otherwise, wouldn't disclose such a thing. It put them at risk of ridicule and harm.

"A fox can't show weakness." he said, standing up, keeping one hand on the bed. "It won't happen again."

"Weakness my ass by you not telling us endangered us all you jerk! If I had known I would have kept Hina with you and your sister dammit! I"m not worried I can take a hit but you one wrong move and they hit you in the chest you could die!" Snapped Lucian.

"Lucian speaks the truth I have no issues with helping in such a situation. And this time he's actually thinking smart unlike you now it seems." Said Hinamori who had come in.

Lucian stood up and said, "I need to be alone for a while before I really do kill him!" He then stormed out and Hinamori just eyed Todd.

"I always thought you were smarter then this but your idiocy showed after all..." Said Hinamori before she too left.

Todd sat, silently fuming. Keep Hina or his sister near by? Like he needed protection?

He growled to himself as he abandoned the bed. He got himself a glass of water, downed it, then tore out of the medical site to find his teacher. He was no runt. He didn't need anyone sympathy, and he certainly didn't need their protection.

He would make sure of that.

Himawari was in the middle of talking with Tsubaki when she saw him walk up. "Todd I'm not going to teach you anymore today. We'll resume tomorrow one does not simply get up and continue such things after collapsing from heart issues. It would be wise to spend the remainder of today resting." Said Himawari firmly.

"Take her advice if you can't listen to your teacher then there's no point in learning at all." Said Tsubaki walking off with Himawari.

Todd frowned, his ears twitching in annoyance. Not a single person had stopped to let him even get a word in edge wise.

"Maybe I should just go find Opa..." he grumbled to himself.

His words were an empty threat as he made his way to the base of he mountain. Just what was at the top anyway?

He gritted his teeth, inwardly wincing. Just this once, he decided, he would listen to the others and rest. Tomorrow marked a new day, though. And he was going to either conquer his health problem, or die trying.

After that six months had passed the three continued harsh training. They had all bumped up to A class fighters but Hinamori and Todd were having trouble budging from there even Lucian's body was being stubborn about him going even higher at the time.

Screaming out as he was sent flying across the sandy landscape Lucian landed onto his feet and slid back gritting his teeth as Yomi was in his face.

"Come now boy you got to do better then that!" Said Yomi who even wore a device to cap his strength down to lower S class so he was at least on the same level as Lucian's father had been when they fought years back.

"Don't you think I am trying!!" Lucian screamed punching wildly onto Yomi who blocked and caught every one of his attacks. Lucian was then sent smacking into the dirt. Hinamori and Todd stood off to the side lines following the two along with their teachers as they watched the two spar.

"Honestly they been at it for twelve hours now. Lucian's stamina is something it only proves to show his stubbornness is what's going to make him pass us up soon enough." Said Hinamori.

Todd didn't respond. He'd become somewhat reclusive of the other two since his heart incident. It had only happened twice since then, and in those instances, he had been up and training without his teacher within the next couple of hours.

"His determination for what?" Todd frowned. "It's his heritage to thank, more than his will." He said bluntly.

Todd's hair reached to just past his shoulders, always tied back loosely now-a-days. His ears pinned and his tail fluffed. "As soon as Yomi is finished with him for the day, I want a slice out of him." he decided aloud, his voice calm and collected.

"What suddenly you want to spar him? Some friend you been. You don't hang with us anymore nor do you utter a word to us half the time... I've had enough I'm going to rest up for a few..." Said Hinamori disgusted as she vanished.

After the training session Lucian was back at camp eating like a horse once more. The three had distanced themselves from each other as usual at meal times.

Tsubaki was starting to see this every day now and it was problematic as team union was the basics of fighting as a group and the way the kids were going their group would fail at this rate.

"Lucian." Todd greeted, sitting beside him. In his hand he held an apple, half eaten. "How do you feel about working off that big meal?" he raised an eyebrow.

It was the first time he'd bothered to speak with him for nearly five months.

"I saw you and Yomi earlier." he admitted.

"Nah I was told to rest and that's just what I'm going to do. Besides I think I pulled a few muscles... Yomi did a number on me it hurts to breathe right now." Said Lucian rubbing his shoulder. He then stood up and said, "Well see you later." He vanished into his tent after that.

Hinamori who was nearby in the watch tower huffed and went back inside to get some rest as well.
