Xion nodded." yeah...you really worked over Varkin...not many can say that" he smiled as the kid sat on the floor."now whats your plan." Xion looked at the kid and back to Kira."freind of yours?" he asked

Kira shrugged a shoulder.

He was a test subject. He's the only one who seems to be lucid. A for the rest... Well. They're not in good shape. We need to wait for their motor skills and memories to return.

the kid walked around."just call me shio..." he said smirking. Xion nodded and looked back to Kira."how long will it take?" he asked

Kira shrugged a shoulder.

I'd say anywhere between 3 and 5 hours. They're drugged up pretty good.

And they smelled terrible. All the drys tainted their blood and made them smell like the inside of a morgue. Ugh.

Xion looked at the test subjects, feeling sorry for them."they must have been through some tough stuff" he said as the kid looked at him and then to the ground."you don't even want to know" he retorted

Kira walked around their little makeshift camp, trying to make the victims as comfortable as she could. There was blood everywhere, but the smell held no appeal for her. She dug out hollows in the snow for her to burrow them into, trying to keep them warm. When she had done all she could, she backed away and stood next to Xion, sighing.

It's like looking at the inside of a grave.

xio looked down and placed his arm around." its the best you can do" he then reverted back into his human form

Kira watched as Xion turned back to a human... Watched as his bulging muscles reverted back to normal human arms. As his buglike antennae turned into his snowy white hair. And as his eyes returned to their friendly shimmer. She smiled at him, unable to resist even in the light of the situation. He was just too handsome to resist.

Xion looked at Kira smiling the whole time."hopefully this attack will knock them around...we might have a chance to escape...if you want to that is?" he asked

Kira vaguely regarded his question. It took her a moment to register it.

Hmmm? Oh.

She blinked a couple times, snapped from her smiling, giddy phase and her eyes hardened.

Yes... Escape is a good idea. But what will we do with them?

She indicated the subjects laying all over the ground.

Xion looked down."we have done all that we can...when there memories return...im sure they will go back home..." he said as the kid turned around." I'm comin with...is that okay?" he asked, smirking

Kira nodded.

Fine by me, as long as you can keep up.

She turned to follow Xion.

xion jumped into the trees, juming from branch to branch, the kid followed him swiftly

Nasso jumped out of the helicopter and looked at the dissolving body of the beast. he quickly took out a peice of blade and smirked."take some samples...stage 2 must be commenced now" he smirked

Kira couldn't seem to shake her feeling of guilt as thy left the subjects behind. To distract herself, she diverted her attention to the new member of their team.

So... What did they do to you in there, anyway?

the kid looked at kira."they...put needles into us...i hadc the most..they injected with 50 different drugs...then they would test us...sometimes they would make us fight to the death, just for fun...then it was shock therapy, to keep our powers on edge and active most of the time"he then looked down

Kira's anger threatened to boil over. She couldn't believe what she was hearing.

Exploitation just for the hell of it... Humans really are a sadistic race...

She growled, her voice deep and dripping with fury.

he then nodded."they called me Volt...because of what I can do...I suppose you can call me that too" he sighed. Xion looked to Kira."we may need to lay low for awhile...after that...I'm planning to take the fight to Nasso..."he said with confidence

Kira nodded once, curtly. She knew laying low was a good idea. They needed a rest from everything that had been happening.

Alright. We'll take a day or two, and then we'll find that bastard Nasso.

Xion looked around"I wonder where shadow is?" he asked as he couldnt sense him for a while even. then Xion could feel the same presence as the one from the house.he looked at Kira."someone's following us" he retorted quietly

Kira had been wondering the same about Shadow's whereabouts... She sniffed the air and recoiled when she smelled the musty, dank smell of the shadow creatures that had ambushed them. She hissed and stole up high into a tree.

She was taken aback by how strong the stench was. It had startled her. The creature--or creatures, she didn't know how many pursued them--were very close now.

Volt looked at kira."theres about 6 of them" he said as shadow slowly came by Xion and followed them carefully

She hissed again and crept through the treetops, as far away from the ground as she could get. She wasn't about to get surprised by those damn things again.

Volt smirked."Ill deal with these...you go on ahead" he said, electricity swirled around his hands. as he turned around and waited for the creatures to strike. shadow stayed behind with him. Xion looked to Kira."thats not the only out here..another unborn is with the creatures" he said

Kira's eyes got big then.

Shouldn't we stay and help him then?

Xion sense somethin aproaching, underneath Kira. Xion jumped at kira pushing her to the side, the same man with Nasso struck Xion multiple times in the stomach, with a blade like appendages, he then threw Xion to the floor and laughed."get up fool!" he demanded
