Hard As Diamonds, White As Snow (open for anyone)

Kira let out a startled cry. She launched herself at the man and growled as she struck his face with her nails repeatedly.

the man kicked Kira off of himand quickly stood, his arms were blade like and pitch black."you may Have killed Randolph and Varkin....but I'm on a whole new level." his body seemed to marge with the shadow from the tree."my blades are tipped in poison...not deadly poison but a nerve paralyzing poison...your boyfreind will be out for awhile" his emitted everyhere. he then appeared behind, attempting to sneak up on her, his blade was ready

Kira sniffed the air, following his scent carefully. She couldn't see him, but she could smell his stench. When he stopped talking, she sniffed again. She hissed and whirled around, intent on ripping his throat out with her teeth. She sprang at him the split second she saw him and closed her lips around his neck, sinking her teeth deep into the flesh of his throat and through his esophagus.

he just laughed."Unborns are the ultimate vampire hunters...my blood is poisonous to you...but carry on" he laughed, pushing his blade into her abdomen."now move" he smirked evilishly

Kira sputtered and coughed in shock. Her normally diamond hard skin had been made vulnerable by the toxin in the unborn's blood.

Stupid.... How could I be so stupid?

She released his neck from her teeth, her mouth dripping black liquid. She gasped like a fosh out of water and tried to squirm away but was stuck on his blade. She punched him hard in the face, trying to make him loose focus. Her feet dangled uselessly below her and her vision started to blur

he slowly got up." luckily you didnt drink enough to die...but still it will be alot easier to take you out" he smirked as he then grabbed her hair and pulled her closer, lifting up his blade arm."how should I kill you?...' he said with a devilish grin

Kira's eyes started to close. She wanted him to kill her... She was ready to die. She had lived too long... Death sounded like an amazing alternative to suffering longer on this planet.

But...

She thought of Xion. All those people that she had helped... She still had work to do here. She opened her eyes and hissed loudly, her mouth dripping black liquid. Her eyes glowed red and she plunged her hand into his chest.

his eyes widened with shock."but but how!?" he asked, trying to shake her off

Kira laughed a dark laugh.

You'd be surprised what a pissed off vampire can do.

She twisted her hand around in his chest, squeezing the contents, watching his face twist in agony. With her other hand, she grabbed the wrist of the hand that held her throat and snapped it so he let go of her. She dragged him down the the ground by his chest, laughing. She stepped on his throat and pressed down with her foot, bent over so her hand still gripped the contents of his chest cavity.

You are defeated. Yield!

Black liquid dripped from her mouth still.

he tried to break free, unable to move."your an animal!....you will die an animal" he said struggling Xion woke up, holding his stomach. his arm turned into the blade arm of his unborn form, but it was darker and larger, he ran over and lifting his arm, decapitated his mentor.

With the head of the monster gone, Kira blinked, her eyes cooling and glazing over. She withdrew her hand from his chest and slumped over forward, not able to keep her balance.

Wh-Wha...?

She was confused as to were she was... She didn't remember anything that had just happened.

Xion breathed heavily, his wound gushing out with blood."...thank you..." he fell forward, too much pain to stop him from blacking out. the kid jumped out from the trees."that took me a....what the hell!?!" he said in shock, seeing Xion on the floor, with som guy's head clean off, and Kira in shock as much as he was.

Kira gasped.

Xion!

She stumbled forward to where he slumped, turning the snow red with his blood. She pulledhim to her, placing his head in her lap, shielding him from the cold.

Wake up!

Xion lowly wooke up as he tried to stop the bleeding for awhile."I should have been on my guard...I'm sorry." he said weakly. Volt looked around for somethin to keep the blood from gushing out. he looked at the body and ripped some cloth from the coat, giving it to Kira."this should help" he said

Kira nodded as she pressed the piece of cloth firmly to the wound to control the bleeding. Her eyes were wild with worry as she looked him in the eye.

It's alright. You fought well.

She tried to smile, but she had a feeling it resembled a grimace more than a smile.

he choughed some blood up and grinned." only Nasso left...we will get that bastard." he said as he fell unconcsious again.Volt placed his hand on her shoulder."he needs help...we need to take him to a hospital or somethin." he retorted

Kira shook her head.

I'm not so sure a hospital could help him... But it's worth a shot.

She hoisted Xion's limp form onto her back and took off toward the nearest city, which was about ten miles away, praying the whole time that Xion would just hold on.

somethin hit Volt,"I remember a conversation between Nasso and another doctor....they talked about how the lead doctor of the facility rebelled against them a few years back...I heard from one of the subjects that he owns aback alley surgery in one of the cities... he said thinking it might help

Kira nodded.

Well, let's hope to hell it's this city.

She was moving in superspeed, needing to get Xion to the doctor as quickly as possible. She barrelled into the town, rattling the gates and gone before anyone could figure out where the sound had come from. She searched around frantically for the hospital... And finally found it. There was an old abandoned back building nearby.

That's probably our best bet...

she ran up to the building and pounded on the locked door, Xion still on her back.

"Damn it! told you punks not to bang the door so hard" ylling came from inside. the man opened the door pointing shotgun outside. but his face was of fear, seeing Xion once again."I cant help you" he went to close the door

Kira thrust her hand out, stopping the door in her cold steel grip.

Sir! Please. I need your help. I'm begging you. He's dying. I've been told you are very talented in your work... I would be willing to pay you. Just please. Help him.

Her eyes were pleading.

he looked down and nodded."okay...but please he must not know of who I...was...he would definitly kill me for sure" he said as he pushed the door further to let Kira and volt in

Kira nodded.

I promise, I won't say a word.

She carried Xion's lifeless form into the operating room of sorts and laid him down on a metal table. She squeezed his limp hand before stepping away and letting the doctor look him over.

the doctor got a few blood drips. he placed him beside Xion's body and checked his wounds. he noticed the blood was darker than human blood, and so reached down for a jar of unkown liquid. he mixed the blood drips with it, until the colour matched Xion's. the doctor, hooked him up to the drips, as he carefully stitched him up, removing and cleaning the wound of any chances of infection. as 2 hours passed, the doctor cleaned his hands and his working utilities

Kira watched the doctor work, all the smells bombarding her with the force of a wrecking ball. Some of the smells were so bad she could hardly stand it, but she didn't want to leave the room.

When he finally finished, Kira sighed in relief and stepped forward to once again take Xion's hand. She looked up at the doctor, her eyes showing her sincerity.
