Hard As Diamonds, White As Snow (open for anyone)

A small part of Kira started to come back to her as she heard Xion tell her to get off. She rolled away, on instinct, as Varkin started to shock the snow around him. She crawled away into the shadow to watch what would happen, her eyes still glowing.

Xion jumped back behind Kira. Varkin still thrashed about, screaming, as his body started to shake violently. his body expanded, near ready to blow. as it exploded large waves of fire and electricity burst out, seemingly disabling nearby security protocols

Nasso looked on his computer, seeing that the base was in red alert, he just smirked."time to activate project Warpath" he smirked, activating a camera of sorts, as it flicked on.the ground where Varkin slowly opened up


the creature climbed out. it was vaslt larger than a battleship. it didnt bother with sniffing out Xion or Kira, it focused on destroying the base. it gave out a large roar, scarying off many of the patrols around the area, the security mechs tried to fight it off, but failed

All of the fight immediately left Kira. Her eyes stopped glowing and her shoulders sagged.

What...the hell...IS that thing?!

Xion stood up."kira...go...free those tes subjects and get the hell out of here...I'll distract this thing...no ifs or buts...just go" he said as he cracked his knuckles

Kira nodded but hesitated. She turned to go but yelled over her shoulder,
You'd better not get yourself killed, you hear me mister?

She ran between the beast's legs; he didn't even notice her. She sprinted off to the base at top speed; she was inside the base before the massive creature had even taken one step. She looked around frantically, trying to figure out a way to get the subjects out in one mass rather than one by one. Something caught her eye...

There.

It was the shut down switch for the patients' cells. She threw the switch and the lights flickered and went out. She heard creaking all around the building as the cells were no longer held shut by the electronic card readers. She ran into the hall and yelled,
Come on! I have to get you all out of here, right now. There is a beast headed this way, ready to turn this place to rubble. I need you all to follow me.

She turned and sprinted toward the door she had entered through, throwing open the door and leading all the victims toward it with the light from the snowy day outside.

Come on!!

Xion whistled loudly, getting the attention of the beast. the beast lookd down at Xion, roaring out as it slammed both fists down. Xion dodged them and ran around the creature."Damn...need a strategy..." he said as he ran up the back of the creature. he gathered more speed till he ran on the head. he jumped up and slammed both his feet as hard as he could. the creature nearly topplled as it staggered back. the creature shook violently, throwing Xion off of him. Xion sighed."might have to use my form for this" he thought to himself

It took a bit, bit Kira finally managed to hustle all the victims out. Some of them were in bad shape. Some were incoherent from all the drugs in their systems. She was even carrying one on her back who had lost his legs. But they were all out.

Now what do I so with you... Probably beat to get you all as far away from here as possible... Alright everyone, follow me!

She stalked off toward the trees in the opposite direction of where the rumbligs on Xion's battle were.

Xion was getting hit around pretty badly, he flew right into the facility, to which the beast kept bashing him in. Xion could feel his bones crunch under the blows of the beast."I...i need to do it" he thought to himself

Kira could hear Xion's cries of pain.

I need to help him... But I can't just leave them here. What do I do?!

Xion managed to walk out of the rubble without the beast knowing. he looked up to the beast and sighed."I need to use it but..no this thing can't leave here" Xion took of his coat, his arm slowly turning into a an organic metal like armor, to which it then started to cover his body, a different way compared to the skin breaking like the others



Xion looked at his form, he couldnt remember how it looked. he then looked to the beast."time for round 2" his voice was slightly deeper and distorted, with a slight fuzzy effect. he jumped up into the creature's back.."hopefully I'll do alot more damage now" Xion readied to strike

Kira shook her head.

Xion is a big boy... He can fight his own battles.

She took a headcount of the victims she had evacuated. There were over thirty of them. She shook her head at the mangled mess that some of them were. They were all in a drugged haze so none of them were trying to run. And for having thirty beings in the vicinity, it was eerily quiet. There was the occasional zombie like moan but the victims didn't seem to be in touch with reality at all. Their blood and other bodily fluids stained the snow. Kira slumped against a tree, at a loss for what to do for them.

Xion dodged and ducked his way around the ruined facility striking at the beast the best he could, which only did minimal damage. "Damn...has to be a weakness..his body is rock solid. like...Armor" Xion thought about somethin smiling as he dodged another blow. "just wait till he roars"Xion kept a close eye on the beast. as the beast roared in anger, Xion jumped up quickly, going through the mouth of the beast

Kira went around to each victim, assessing the individual damage on each one of them. Most looked worse than they were physically, but they all had unspeakable mental trauma. A few couldn't even speak, they were so far gone.

a teenage boy, wearing the same clothes as the subjects sat ontop of the tree. he laughed and jumped down."its too late for them now...minds wandered too far ahead" he smiled pacing around

Kira was immediately on the defensive with the boy.

He might be mentally deranged, too... Best to play it safe.

What do you mean, "wandered too far ahead?"

he laughed."we were being forced to ue psychic skills...luckily I'm an adept...the others not so much" he said as he looked at kira."I'm not insane...my mind is still together...a...alttle fractured...but far from broken" he smiled as he looked up

Kira nodded, still defensive.

So what do you suggest I do with them then?

he looked around at some of the subjects."some were newly acquired...their memories will return in a few hours or so...the others?...they are long been broken....wheres your freind?" he asked

Xion looked around inside the beast's stomach."this place stinks!" he covered his face, he walked around."need to find the heart...that should kill it" he thought

Kira nodded, feeling a bit nauseated.

He is battling an advanced unborn.

the kid nodded, clicking his fingers as he send out sparks."Unborn...like that man who could fry people with lightning...he used me...to see if I can develop that power...its slowly becoming more powerful." he said

Xion crawled, forced his way through the inside. untill he got to the middle. he looked up and the heart, beating strangely, not like any human beat. his blade lightened up, like a sunrise like colour."this ends now" he swiped furiously at the heart. the beast gripped its chest, roaring in pain as it staggered around, falling and trying to keep balance

Kira slumped back against a tree. She didn't sleep, but she was feeling weary after her little tiff with the monster... When her other side had come out. She was finding it hard to concentrate on anything the kid was saying to her.

the kid moved closer and looked into her eyes."you okay?" he asked, snapping his fingers, and waving his hand

Xion cut his way out of the creature, hisbody felt a surge, as if more power was given to him. he looked back at the beast's lifeless body, he just shrugged his shoulders."needed to be done" he then started to look for kira, still in his unborn form

Kira shook her head quickly, trying to clear the fog.

Yeah, I'm... I'm fine. Just a little....worn out.

Xion could hear her and followed the voices, the kid then leaned on the tree."seeing the size of that thing...your freind might be alittle dead...if not full dead." he said Xion aproached and saw Kira." sorry bout my appearence...last resort" he laughed and sighed

Kira jumped a bit when she spotted Xion, but collected herself.

Quite alright. You saw the demon in me, so to speak.

She laughed a bit.
