Hard As Diamonds, White As Snow (open for anyone)

Kira nodded and narrowed her eyes, breaking down this brawny landmass of a being's weaknesses in a split second. She noticed he favored his left side over his right and he had a slight limp, meaning his right leg had probably been broken some tine before. She would strike the same place and rebreak the bone. Then, when he was down and writhing in agony, she would bite him, and that would be the end of that. She shot out like a bullet from a gun from behind Xion, striking Randolph in the upper thigh near his groin with her rock hard fist. She heard a satisfying crunch as she snapped the bone where it had been broken before. She grinned and backed away quickly as Randolph clutched his leg. She sashayed around behind him, jumped up on his back, and closed her teeth around his neck before ripping his throat open. His hot blood poured out, steaming when it hit the snow. all of this occurred in a split second, before Randolph even had time to react.

Randolph grimaced in agony, but did not show it."you bitch!" he shouted, leaping in the air."I'll crush you" he said trying to shake her off, but then thought and forced all his body weight down, to try and crush Kira.he could feel his blood being sucked out. Xion looked on, smiling."Randolph...you were always the weakest one... thats why I pity you, you crave power, yet you have so little" he said, getting him even more angry

Kira laid on her back and pressed her feet into Randolph's chest. She launched him off of her with her powerful legs into an oak tree covered in snow.

Randolph tried to get back up, but snapped his leg once again."you think this will stop me?" he said, his voice deepening, his body starting to become covered in scales, parts of his body started to show a skeletal mechanical like substance. his face was a demonic grin, almost looking armor like, pretty much like the resy of his body." I am the tank of unborns...my defense is near indestructable" his chest hosted an unusually large crystal like eye. Xion remembered."thats his main weakness...it contains his heart...if that breaks, the heart will burn up

Kira nodded, feigning fright.

You're right... You're damn near invincible...

She picked up a tree branch and launched it, like a javelin, into the crystal casing covering his heart.

Too bad for you, that doesn't cut it.

at the last second his knocked it out of the way, but it chipped some of it. he fell to his knees. his heart slowly dying."you think that I dont have an ace up my sleeve?" he said weakly."I'll destroy everythin within sight!" his mouth shone a bright light that intensified. as he was about to open his mouth. the creature appeared infront on him, his tail turning into an assortment of blades, to which he stabbed through the crystal, piercing the heart Randolph fell backwards, the beam shooting out into the sky

Kira grimaced a bit away from the light. The brightness of it burned her sensitive eyes. When the light died out, she peered at the shattered shell that had covered Randolph's heart and then looked at the little shadow creature.

Well... Look who came in handy.

She smirked a bit.

the creature jumped about and ran behind her looking at randolph's body, as it shook around violently, dissolving away to just liquid

A look of intense disgust passed over Kira's face as Randolph disintegrated into lumpy goo.

Yuck. That looks incredibly...disgusting.

She felt rather odd about Randolph's death. She was glad to have the monster out of the way, but she felt strange killing something without feeding from it. She hadn't murdered in years.

Xion looked at kira and sighed."its a failsafe...so that those who could kill us won't examine or experiment on our remains.." he said as he looked around, knowing somethin was wrong."thank you for your help...its best I go and take out the others...maybe we will se each other again" he said as he walked away

Kira was startled when Xion left. She hadn't been expecting him to leave so suddenly.

But he was already gone. When she turned around, she saw that the shadow creature was still behind her. She sighed.

Well, now what am I going to do with you?

the creature pushed her, telling her to follow him, he walked around making whining noises

Kira stumbled a bit as the creature pushed her in the direction that Xion had left.

Alright, alright! Don't have a cow.

She took off at her dizzying speed and caught up with Xion. She grasped his arm.

Wait.

Xion stopped and turned around."Kira...I dont want you to get hurt...Randolph was the weakest...and a failure...the others won't be nearl as easy" he said as he looked straight at Kira

Kira shrugged one shoulder.

I'm willing to take that risk. Besides. I've got nothing better to do. And immortality ought to count for something, right?

She grinned her heart-stopping angel's smile.

Xion laughed slightly."I suppose it does...but If we have to fight Commander nasso...just get out of there" he said as the creature growled with excitement

Kira nodded, reluctantly. She longed to wipe that smug grin off Nasso's face...for good. Put him in the ground... But why put herself at risk if she didn't have to?

She sighed.

Yes... you're right. Well, where is this place that you're going?

Xion looked at Kira."Nasso was talking about some kind of big project...I need to go and stop it...no doubt it will be powerful..." Xion then looked straight on."I remembered of a base...bout 2 hours away from the lab...its kind of a test base...its where I was trained...and kept" he said as he sighed."If I'm correct, then my old team has left to do a month of contracts...hopefully we can just sabotage the base, and then leave" he said, knowing it won't exactly be that easy

Kira shrugged.

I think we can handle that. And whatever complications may arise, we'll just handle them as they come at us.

She was completely casual about it.

Xion nodded and moved faster than before."okay then...whatc out for sentries after this point...they like to take visitors by surprise

Kira nodded, her muscles tense and taut like rubber bands, hyperstimulated and ready to snap at the first sign of a hostile human. Or super human. Or being in general.

Xion could sense a patrol group up ahead, he slowly down slightly, not to attract their attention

Kira breathed deeply and smelled humans ahead. She softened her footsteps so she didn't even make any marks in the snow as she moved.

Xion stopped, and kneeled on a nearby branch, motioning Kira to do the same."maybe they have some useful info" he said. the scouts where pretty armored, they looked around, all holding an assault rifle."no sign of Project Hades. sir" shorter, streamlined, slim man armored walked around, his arm had a series of number's like Xion's arm."thats Varkin...another unborn" Xion said anger welling up inside."he will be here...keep an eye out" Varkin replied his eyes where a bright white colour." he has taken out Randolph..he is a code 4 threat...so is his partner...just dont play hero...you see them, call me" he quickly moved away from the scouts. Xion looked at kira."should we attack or move around them?" he asked, unsure what to do

Kira held her breath as she thought.

Let's just try to get around them. The less confrontation right now, the better. Let's save our energy for later on.

She spun off the branch into another tree, jostling it slightly.
