he got back up onto his feet, he glared at Sumiko."lucky for you he is more important to deal with...your just another packless Wolf, throwing her strength around...I pity you." he turned his back again and continued, Vahn looked at Sumiko."that was an interesting turn of events" he sighed

sumiko growled, annoyed by the bastard's haughtiness. She wanted to change back to her human form but she had no clothes.

he then turned his head to the side."I'll be looking forward to working with you...I'm part of the resistance myself" he smirked
Vahn sighed."that was the injured slave" he then looked at Sumiko." dont be so...whats the word...Short tempered" he said smiling

A growl thundered through Su's body.

Short tempered.... Me? That's absurd.

She shook her massive head, her green eyes flashing at him.

he stepped back."okay okay...lets just carry on...maybe someone will pass us and givs us a lift" he said before realising the hulking wolf." maybe they will lke wolves" he laughed nervously

Su huffed heavily. She didn't like being in her wolf form any more than she needed to be. It put her on edge.

No one can understand me when I try to speak. And I have to eat in the raw. Ugh. I hate doing that.

She covered her nose with one paw as she thought of it. As if on cue, her huge stomach growled.

Oh. That's great. Just terrific.

he looked down, remembering what his father's first words was.

his fist clenched tight."I'll show him who the coward is..." he said to himself

Su looked up, hearing Vahn muttering to himself. She made a questioning noise, undertoned by a slight growl, as if to ask, What are you grumbling about over there?

he then looked up."sorry just...thinking about...stuff" he sighed continuing on. A dim Light was lit in the distance.Vahn immediately ran to it

Su looked up when Vahn began to run. She ran around in front of him and knelt down, as if to say, hop on. When he did, she loped forward toward the point of light, her massive padded feet thumping the earth in a steady rhythm.

he smiled as she ran to the light, as it growed bigger, it was clearly visible that it was a camp site. numerous soldiers walked around, some wounded. they noticied sumiko and vahn and."Halt" shouted both of the guards

Sumiko growled.

What the hell?? We run away from guards just to find more??

Vahn noticied they wore diferent armor."sumiko...they are the resistance" he whispered."I'm here to join...so is my big freind here...and if you got some extra clothes for her that would be good" the guards whispered to each other."why do you want to join." Vahn looked around and then back at them."because I used to be a special elite paradox knight, and I have some files on their latest weapon." guard's expression was that of shock."come with us" the guard on the left said walking into a nearby tent

Sumiko followed Vahn's lead, behaving herself. Even if she didn't want to join this ragtag team, he really did. She wouldn't screw up his chance. She waited outside the tent the men entered, laying down and resting her great head on her front paws. She rested her eyes, not sleeping, just in case...

a shy girl walked up to sumiko."errrmm...here are some clothes for you " she stuttered.Vahn showed the leader what he had and told him everythin that was going on. the leader was a large man."htis wont be good for anyone....you sure Azreal is planning this?" he asked. Vahn nodded."my father is the chief enginneer...I stole this from him"

Sumiko sniffed the close and nudged them with her nose.

Well. Not my normal style but they'll do.

She nodded her head at the girl, a twinkle of reluctant thanks in her eyes. She took the clothed behind a tree. As she trotted around and readied herself for the change, her ear twitched. She heard what Vahn said about his father.

So he is planning some sort of invasion or something of the like... Hummm.

She shrugged, deciding to deal with it later. Her joints popped and locked back into their natural human forms. Her naked skin gleamed in the moonlight as she shrugged the tight shirt over her chest. It was a bit too small; her breasts were quite....accentuated in a way she normally wouldn't flaunt them. Her nipples stood erect, as if to say, look at me!

Eh. Whatever. Guess I'll give the guys around here a show.

She smirked and stepped into the loose jeans.

When she came back from the woods, she walked straight toward the tent and sauntered in with no pretense, feeling more confident in her human form. Her slate eyes glinted and she walked up beside Vahn, looking over his shoulder.

So. What's the plan?

the large man looked at sumiko..he smiled."Sumiko?...its me...Brask...how is goin" he walked up to her and extended his han for a shake.vahn looked confused."sir...you know her". he asked." ofcourse...when I lost my brigade and arm, her pack took me in and gave me a prosthetic arm.." he smiled. Vahn just sighed

A grin flashed across Sumiko's face.

Brask! Hey, man! How's it goin? How's that fakie workin for ya?

She shook his hand with energy. It was good to see old faces from her past.

Keeps me in line.... Reminds me who I am and where I come from.

he laughed quite loudly." its working better then ever..I had some metal coating plates over it so that it wont break off in a battle....other than being proud of this army...im doing fine." he smiled."look I'm really touched about old freind's reuniting...but can we please just get to the task at hand." said Vahn

Su raised an eyebrow.

Cool your jets, Commander Bossy, we're all business here.

She smiled at him at playfully threw him a jab in the arm.

Alright. Now what's this I heard about something your dad is planning, Vahn?

She really was quite curious; she'd been waiting for a good invasion for years.

he looked at both of them and showed them the other file, it detailed a large machine, almost like a chamber," the excavation is being used to find blood red crystals called, "Lazarus cells"....this machine is called the "Lazarus chamber"...its main use is to combine power vessels with these crystals...which increases their power hundred times over...other uses is a limitless supply of power...I didnt stay long enough to find out its final use" Vahn looked at Sumiko."these same crystals are used in the rituals" Brask looked at the file."somethin like this was created before...you could be right...or they could be trying to dig up the original" he replied

A pensive look crossed her face.

Do you think he's trying to build an army of sorts? What possible reason could he have for doing that?

This prospect worried her greatly.

"that or he wants somethin to have godlike powers, and be used to conquer many cities...thats what the creators wanted to use it for" replied Brask, the young girl from before walked, Holding a tray with tea and some bread."h-here is somethin to eat and drink."she smiled. Vahn looked at then looked away with a red face.the young girl walked out."thats my daughter, serenity" he smiled

Sumiko smiled and jabbed Vahn in the arm again.

Someone's got a little crush!

She laughed, not in a mean-spirited way. She thought it was cute that he was crushing on her. She was a pretty little thing, fragile. Slight. Fair. Everything she wasn't. She bit her lip at that thought.

Back to business...

So, Vahn, can this machine be stopped?
