How Soon Is Now?

the rumble got louder, the footsteps shook the foundations of the motel. a huge hand grabbed the sdie of the door frame to which a hulking armored , knight esque behemoth stepped out. his face completely obscured by the helmet it wore, which was a vague gas mask like helmet. he looked around, he saw Sumiko but did nothing as it stumbled down, its back was bleeding quite heavily. a younger man stepped out, he was in his early teens."wow mr big...thats a pretty bad mark..let me help" he placed his hands over the wound, healing it fairly quickly

Sumiko was absolutely shocked, she was sorry to admit to herself. She had never seen any being so huge in her entire life. Her jaw fell open and she skittered back, no longer in her ready position. She was in awe of his massive size. She knew she was a small woman, but never had she felt so dwarfed. She recovered quickly, snapping her mouth shut again, when the smaller man came out.

Are these the two we're looking for? Hmmm...

She hopped up, circling the two from behind. The big one had seen her... But he was too weakened to attack. She wasn't sure what to do...

Were we supposed to detain them for questioning? Or are they hostile?

She decided to approach them calmly first instead of expending energy she could use positively. She approached the two from the shadow where she had been hiding a moment ago, in a relaxed gait that would show she meant no harm, that she came in peace. Her eyes were guarded but soft.

the kid looked at sumiko, waery at first, but did not attack. the large knight rumbled loudly, his mask giving out a red light, from the eyeholes of the gas mask like helmet. the kid patted him on the shoulder."sorry..mr. big doesnt like strangers, my name's roland...and this is mr big.." he said as he then looked curiously at her." your a wherewolf arent you?" he asked

Sumiko's eyes widened as the kid called her out on her species. Otherwise, she showed no physical signs that might give her away.

Well, I dunno about that... But I can be ferocious as a wolf.

She growled the last few words, hoping to throw him off.

Now... To the task at hand.

What brings you to this rundown old armpit of a town, anyway?

the kid looked at mr big, adn then back to sumiko."we are trying to destroy the facility here...its where we were created...I have a diect link to mr big...i see what he sees hears and so on...plus I have strong psychic abilities.." he said as mr big relaxed himself

Su's eyes were still wide.

Destroy the building...?

She nodded.

The rest of my team is just a couple buildings down... Won't you cone with me and talk tonthe leader? I'm sure he'd be interested in your story.

he looked at mr big."what do you think?"mr big then gave out another low rumble" if you can bring the team here that would be good" he retorted."we are kind of wanted" he laughed

Sumiko nodded.

Alright... Vahn?

She waited for Vahn to come out of his hiding spot in the shadows.

Would you be so kind as to go get Brask and bring him here to speak to these two gentlemen?

vahn shook his head"sorry, he only sent us...and besides since where here we might aswell help them...sameal is our squad leader" he smiled."I'll look for him" he said heading out. the kid looked at vahn suspicously."I've seen him before" he said

Su narrowed her eyes a bit at the smaller man.

He recognizes Vahn?

She was automatically suspicious but she made it sound like she was simply curious.

the kid scratched his head." Can't remember...I've only been out from that hellhole for 5 months...can't remember much before that or even after for that matter" he laughed nervously as mr big stood over sumiko, towering over her. the lights soon changed to yellow.

Sumiko eyed the big one tentatively.

Why is he staring me down, anyway?

She cleared her throat, a bit nervous as Mr. Big's light-filled eye sockets were riveted on her. She didn't know if he meant to harm her or not; she couldn't read his intentions in his eyes and that put her on edge.

he shook his head."red means anger, yellow means freindly...thats what he tells me...and he respects...you give out a fighting aura...he likes that...he would like a test of strength with you someday"he smiled

Sumiko blinked once, surprised.

Oh. Well... Yes, perhaps someday.

She looked up at Mr. Big and bowed her head a bit to him. Then she looked around.

Hmmm... Hope Vahn didn't get attacked on his way to find Sameal... There are a lot of shady characters around this place...

Sameal ,Vahn and serenity rushed in."sumiko...seven has been ambushed" Sameal said as Vahn and serenity where out of breath."it must have been the paradox knights" he said as he looked over to mr big and the kid."looks like we have found them" he said

Sumiko snarled, low and menacing.

How is he now? We have to go to him.

Damn the Paradox to the deepest circle of hell, where they belong.

Vahn thought."the nearest base would be appropiate place." the kid then had an idea."thats the paradox experiment facility...if he is wanted then no doubt a high ranking knight would come..." he said as sameal nodded."and since he ordered the bounty...Azreal kayne will be the knight."Vahn clenched his fist."so...we cane save seven....and kill that bastard" he said with anger

Sumiko clenched her fists tightly in frustration.

Well what are we waiting for? Let's go!

She looked toward the kid and Mr. Big expectantly.

Can you two lead the way?

he smiled as he nudged Mr. big" just try to keep up" he jumped on his shoulder, and mr big charged through the wall at high speed."man...lets go" said Sameal jumping out of the hole, Vahn held onto Serenity and jumped out with her

mr big, swerved through the back alleys at incredible speed. Sameal looked at Sumiko" me and...mr big and the kid will act as a diversion...you, Vahn, and serenity will look for Seven..is that okay with you?" he said trying to keep up with mr big

Sumiko nodded at Sameal as she sprinted along in full stealth mode behind Mr. Big.

Yeah... Should be pretty easy.

She huffed a bit as she ran around trees and hopped over boulders.

they could see the large building ahead, the grounds where littered with knights and doctors. Sameal couht up with mr big."hey guys...lets go to the entrance" the kid and big nodded as they went to the right. Serenity nodded as she turned to the left."maybe we should go around the back" she said as vahn followed

Sumiko snarled as she approached the horde of doctors. Her fingers curled up like claws and she bared her wolf-like teeth. Her eyes gleamed green in the darkness. She leaped at the nearest guard and ripped his throat open with her teeth, like a rabid wolf.

"Serenity stay behind me" vahn got out his sword, and swiped at the guard in half. he knocked out some of the doctors and followed sumiko. serenity noticed some of the creatures where locked in cages, she then released them and followed them as fast as she could.

Sameal walked up to the gate Guard." no visitors today please move along."Sameal laughed and stabbed him with a knife."Visitors...more like Saboteurs..." he then motioned mr big, to which he ran trhough the gate, bashing gaurds as they tried to swarm him. the kid lifted a couple of the fuel tanks in the air and threw them at the guards."RED ALERT ALL KNIGHTS OUT AT FRONT, HOSTILE ATTACK, I REPEAT HOSTILE ATTACK." the was heard throughout the facility.

Vahn smiled."loosk like it should be easier now...lets find one of those docs and make him talk" he said running through the halls

As Seven was kept in his cage, Azreal walked up."hmmm...great size..strength from the reports...more tests will be needed...Mikhail was a failed speciman."Azreal smirked evilly. the warning then started." looks like ordering the airship was a good idea...they should be here soon...maybe I can take out Vahn...he has been a thorn in my side for too long...I have other plans for Sameal and Sumiko...hehehe" he said as he sat down, his chin ontop of his fist

Sumiko stalked the halls like a hunting wolf, ready to attack anyone who got in their way. She sniffed the air and smelled fear strongly from one room. She pushed the door open.

In here, she snarled.

There was a balding doctor curled up in a dark corner.

Vahn walked as the doctor got pointing the gun at him. Vahn quickly moved out of the arm and grabbed his arm, breaking as he threw into the wall."your patrol ambushed my freind...you might know who he is right?" Vahn demanded."the wherewolf?...thats classi-" Vahn kicked him in the stomach and drawed out his sword across his neck."then theres no use for you" just then serenity held his hand and calmed him down. she looked into his eyes and held the doctors head, volts jumped jumped around her hand, as thr doctor screamed in pain. Serenity let go and the doctor fell the the ground."he is in the main garage...they've scheduled an airship...azreal will be waiting."just then Vahn stormed out of the room and charged head on
