"The only cure for a hang over is more alchohol." Ronan said placing another bottle only half filled with beer right beside her. He grabbed a bar stool and sat down. Propping his elbows on the isle top he stared ahead and sampled the other bottle he had. Being drunk was the only way to weaken the machine his parents had built. Hell he helped built it up. So maybe he was to blame? He'd rather feel numbed out then go through the rawness of emotions. So alchohol acted as some freaky filter. Not the best route to go.

He still doned the same dress shirt and pants as the day before--shocking everyone who laid eyes on him. It wasn't his usual crisp, professional appearance. Well screw it. He was home not at the office.

He wouldn't leave. Yet.

"Think it's about time we," he cleared his throat, looked at his beer, sighed, "set some things straight. Sound good?" He was trying to be rational, remain calm. The alchohol in his blood helped. But his hands were shaky and his breaths were quick and shallow. He felt oddly feverish and his pulse rioted as if it were gonna burst at any second. His brain probably lost a few dozen IQ points but at least he wasn't mad. Not fully there.

Grace opened her eyes and took her head off of her arms and looked Ronan when he said that the only cure for a hang over was more alcohol, "I'm sure it is" she said softly with a small smile. As soon as he said it was about time they set some things straight Grace groaned softly and picked up the bottle he had put beside her, "If we're going to have a serious talk, I'm going to need to get drunk again" she mumbled before she down some of the beer.

Turning her head she took in his appearance and raised a brow, "You look worse than I do and I was out clubbing" she said trying to lighten the mood before she raised the bottle to her lips again. Grace had never been one to drink the next morning after being drunk but right then and there she didn't really care, "And what exactly do we need to set straight Ronan?" Grace asked after being quiet for a little while.

She had a feeling it would have something to do with her going to clubs, hell, as far as Grace cared right then he could refuse to let her out of the house. It would give her a good reason to stay away from alcohol and clubs, running a hand through her hair she shifted it from her eyes tiredly as she propped one of her elbows on the counter and rested her head on her hand.

He kept his hands busy with rolling the bottle on the isle. Stared at it for a long beat. He licked his lips and blinked a few times before reverting his gaze to her. As messy as her hair was she still looked incredibly hot.

"You're fucking sexy." He couldn't stop the words from escaping him. His hands gripped the bottle. "Yeah I said it. Guess what many guys think so too. But you're married. To me. Now when you go to a club especially one full of single men what kind of message does it send?" He asked sounding harsher than he meant. What happened to the filter?

So he was jealous maybe? Or concerned on what it would bring on him. He had yet to look in the news but twitter already has its own #ThePartyGirl blowing up the trending top. He didn't even want to check his facebook page for videos of his wife shaking her ass on the dance floor sans him. He'd had felt less annoyed had he actually been there with her. It sucked.

He didn't know where he stood with her.

Grace watched him carefully as he looked at her, she looked a little taken aback when he said that she was sexy. But when he continued to talk Grace bit her bottom lip and looked away from him and his harsh tone, "I know I'm married to you. I didn't forget that in my drunken haze" Grace said softly. Looking at the beer bottle in her hand she downed the rest of it not caring in that moment. "My friends are single and they wanted to go some place that had a lot of single men" she sighed, she hadn't touched any of the men there and had only danced with her female friends.

"You sound like a jaded lover" Grace said as she moved on the stool so her body was completely facing him, "I didn't touch any of the men there. I had no desire to! I wanted to make you see that you have a wife. A wife who has had little to no attention from her husband" she added as she continued to watch him. Licking her lips a little she bit her bottom lip and looked away from him.

Closing her eyes for a moment Grace sighed as she opened them and glanced Ronan, "But I get it, you're running multiple businesses. You don't exactly have the time to worry about me" Grace said as she got off of the stool and moved to the rubbish bin to throw away the empty bottle before she walked back to the stool and sat back down.

Her words how he grasped at them for truth. Replayed them in his mind over and over. So she hadn't forgotten their marriage and was simply helping out her friends. His stomach knotted up with guilt. He shouldn't have jumped the gun. He downed the rest of his beer fully aware it wouldn't help him as much as he wanted it to.

When she returned he watched her intently despite fogginess of his brain. He didn't believe in miracles but perhaps fate. Something was better than nothing.

Before he could think better of it he leaned forward and pressed his lips to hers, teeth nearly clashing. He wanted to show her how much he desired her so there it was. No words needed.

Grace relaxed as she watched him waiting for him to say something, anything, when he leaned forwards and pressed his lips to her she couldn't help but gasp softly before she kissed him back. Keeping the kiss going for a moment or two Grace slowly took her lips from his and leaned backwards a little, "What was that for?" she asked softly. Grace wanted to know if he was just trying to mess with her or if he was trying to make a point that she was his and his alone.

Biting her bottom lip her eyes locked on Ronan's, her stomach tightened in excitement as she reached out a hand a lightly traced her fingers on his jaw before she leaned into him again and lightly pressed her lips to his in a soft kiss. She was acting on the what her body wanted and she didn't mind that in the slightest. Grace honestly wanted to feel and see more of the man she was married to but she wasn't going to rush anything with a man who was more complicated than she was.

"I'm sorry if you thought the worst" Grace whispered against his lips, she was enjoying their close proximity but she doubted it would last too long.

A low growl tore through him. Yeah he understood her reasons and all was forgiven. Whatever happened with the media and their stories he put it on the back burner. He reached out and grasped her hips drew her in so that she stradled his lap. The answer to her query pressing up against her with a furious need he couldn't deny. Holding himself back from what he wanted was never his thing.

There you go breaking your own rule. Mixing business with pleasure. He reminded himself but the reminder was like words that fell into darkness. She was already his. He'd put a damn expensive ring on it and no one would dare take it from him. what about the contract? Shit. In five years she'd be free to walk out. Right out those doors. There wouldn't be anything he could do to stop her. And did that lose her appeal to him? Make him stop wanting her? Nope.

At her gasp he slipped his tongue between her teeth swept her mouth and wrestled her tongue as if they were having sex. He couldn't speak he was too lost in her scent, the heat of her skin, the feel her lips he urged to suck on. Thinking the worst of her? No. He was just afraid of losing her. There he went rolling in the deep.

A soft moan left her when he grasped her hips and drew her to him, pressing her body against his as she straddled him Grace ran her fingers through his hair wanting to feel more of him. The feeling of their tongues dancing together brought another small gasp from her, right in that moment Grace didn't care what happened as long as she got to touch and taste more of the man she was married to, straddling and holding onto as if her life depended on him.

Moving her hands she let her fingers glide down his neck and chest slowly fingering the buttons of his shirt for a moment before she pulled back from their breath taking kiss and tried to get her breathing back under control, "I can honestly say that was unexpected" she breathed with a smile.

Rolling her bottom lip between her teeth as she looked at Ronan's lips Grace got slowly off of his lap, smiling at him Grace reached out for one of his hands and lightly laced her fingers with his. "Want to continue this somewhere else? Or would you rather get some sleep?" Grace asked him softly as she leaned down and pressed her lips back against. She found his taste addictive and the mix of alcohol on his lips didn't deter her in the slightest since she also tasted of alcohol.

"I can honestly say that was unexpected."

Was it really? He almost asked but he had expected her to recoil from him. What a surprise that she'd actually accepted his kiss. Now he was hooked. Taking in a breath he shook his head at her next question. She is his lady and he her man they could do whatever they pleased.

Smirking he stood and pulled her against him, released her hand so that he could tuck an arm behind her legs, the other suppprted her back and he literally swept her off her feet. He crossed over to the steps taking them in his usual pace. Down the lengthy corridor at the end the doors leading to the master bedroom.

The one place he had yet to introduce her since their nuptials.

The master wasn't overly personal save for the obvious essentials, large bed, flanked by night stands, a chaise longue set in the side nearest the windows on one end of the room a fire place on the other with French doors leading to the balcony.
"We made a vow, even if its a contractual marriage... I want it to be more than that." He approached the mahogany four poster bed in the midst of the large spacious room and gently set her over it. The obsidian sheets wrinkled slightly beneath her weight.

Ronan sat on the edge his gaze lingered on her. A pensive look settled his features, though none of the heat had extinguished from his eyes. His hand slid down her smooth leg spreading goosebumps over her flesh with his touch.

"Tell me Grace, where do you want to take this?" Again in that low, gravely tone. Down he slid his palm to her ankle until he held her foot in his hands, fingers kneading into the ball of her foot, gentle rhythmic pressure into the arch. All that dancing must have killed her feet. He wanted her to know he cared, and that it all wasn't for nothing.

Seeing him smirk Grace frowned at Ronan a little and gave a small yelp when he pulled her against him. When he swept her off of her feet she gasped softly and wrapped her arms around his neck with soft laugh. Seeing where he was carrying her to Grace looked up at him a little wondering what exactly was going through his head. When he spoke Grace blushed a little when he said that he wanted their contractual marriage to be more than that, watching him when he sat her down on the bed Grace tipped her head to the side a little.

Feeling his hand slide down her leg Grace couldn't help but shiver a little from the feeling, looking at him when he asked where she wanted to take it she bit her bottom lip lightly. It was hard to think of anything remotely innocent when he spoke in that low gravely tone of his.

When he began to knead the ball of her foot and the arch a small groan left her at the feeling, moving on the bed a little Grace took her foot from his hands and leaned into him before she pressed her lips against his in a begging kiss. "I want you" she whispered against his lips, as she undid the sash on the silk robe she was wearing so it opened a little so he could touch more of her skin if he wanted.

"I want you."
The words came tumbling from her lips down into the blackness that surrounded them. He was night and so was she, a movement of sensual limbs cradled in the lush sanctuary of his once solitary realm. He welcomed her at last, she alone into the vast space he never shared with anyone else and his hands reached for her warm body and crushed her against him. His heart rammed in his chest and his breaths left him like the winds, he leaned into her, pressed his lips to hers, delves for flesh and more of what he willed himself to obtain.

Deeper into the endless night, with only the sencea of touch, scent and sound as subtle or roaring like the furious ocean. Up and down, they rocked through the waves that pounded relentless, and he was taken into a sudden whirl of joy, fear, madness and surrender to arms that were too gentle and lips that were too soft, fate that outran him. For the first time in his life he met someone stronger than himself, one who faced their obstacles with with her all, someone he wanted to bully and break for all she's done him in. And then they swept into the haze of darkness, sweet, consuming and all their own.

When he awoke the next morning had it not been for the warmth entagled against him he would have thought the happenings of last night were as intangible as a dream.

Their night together had been amazing and Grace was half sure when she began to wake up in the morning that it had been a dream. Slowly opening her eyes when she woke up Grace smiled a little to herself seeing that she was cuddled into Ronan with her head on his chest, moving a little Grace raised her head off of his chest and looked at him with a small smile. "I thought no one but you slept in your bed" Grace said softly with a small laugh as she moved away from him a little and propped herself up on her elbows comfortably.

It felt nice actually waking up in the same bed as her husband for the first time, she was sure that this is what it felt like to other married couples. As if they were completely content. Running a hand through her hair a little Grace smiled at Ronan softly, "Did you sleep well?" she asked him softly as she laid back down on the bed on her stomach with her head turned to the side so she could continue to watch him. Grace moved on the bed a little so she was laying on her side a little before she sat up on the bed and held the sheet to her chest lightly, she was curious to know what he was thinking and if he was thinking about them sleeping together had been a mistake.

Leaning into him Grace placed a light kiss on his cheek wanting to show him that she still wanted him after their fun night, Grace wanted to spend the rest of her nights in his bed with him so she could wake up to Ronan every morning. But she knew that the two of them were really still trying to get used to being around each other even though they were married.

He blinked up at her when she hovered over and offered a faint smile. A brief curving of his lips as his eyes trailed to her own plush mouth verbalizing words he wanted to kiss into silance. Did he sleep well? No he must have died some time last night. There was only the void when he attempted to recall a spark of dream. Most nights have always been full of anxiety and the constant twitter feed pace of concerns flooding his conscious. To her query he nodded, he neednt ask if she enjoyed her eve for it was there in the rose tint of her porcelain flesh, the heat that bloomed her cheeks.

Then his view swept to her when she leaned in and pressed her smiling mouth to his cheek. He extented his hands to fill them with her body to which he pulled into the cradle of his own. He wanted to take her again and reach for the dawning sky as though racing the hike of sun. It burst a spark of pleasurable waves awakening him from the scraps of sleep.

He would let her stay, she could do whatever she pleased as his wife. Had he not expressed this already? Maybe he could feed her his thoughts with the sensual flick of his tongue. Or the bite of his teeth into her earlobe and tug.

He kissed her neck with renewed desires, "You are the first an accomplishment that deserves a sweet reward before I go." Back to work that is, he wouldn't be able to stay in as he had done beform too much time away from the office and his employees might go slack. Someone had to keep them in check. But of course he'd enjoy himself a little before he went.

Grace laughed softly when he cradled her, relaxing into him she smiled when he kissed her neck making her close her eyes and shiver slightly. Looking at him she smiled a little, "You know you don't need to spoil me" Grace said smiling again before she pressed her lips against his in a light kiss enjoying the feeling of his lips against hers and enjoying the taste of him. Grace knew she would never get enough of having him all to herself nor would she get enough of his hands touching her body or his lips touching her skin.

Reaching up Grace lightly ran her fingers along his jaw line, his stubble tickling her fingers making her smile. "I think, we both need to clean up" Grace said with a soft laugh as she moved away from him and got off of the bed, looking at him Grace smirked a little.

Moving away from the bed she started to head for the bathroom aiming to go have a shower, "And you have work to tend to" Grace said looking over her shoulder at Ronan with a grin as she slipped into the bathroom and started the shower and let the watcher run for a moment or two before she slipped under the warm spray.

He watched her eyes roving her form despite her wrapped up he recalled the perfection of her form. And his pulse quickened he got out of bed with a wicked urge springing in his steps. He joined her in the shower, closed them into the glass confines as the heat of the water enveloped them.
His hands reached for her and slid to her hips he pressed another kiss into the nape of her neck. A sudden guilt swirled low in his gut and he frowned.

"I'm sorry for not being a good husband. You deserve better."

Glancing over her shoulder when he joined her in the shower Grace smiled when he slid his hands to her hips and kissed the nape of her neck. Leaning into him she sighed softly as she tipped her head back a little and looked up at him, "You don't need to be sorry" Grace said softly as she reached up and touched his cheek gently showing her affection for him.

"Both of us have been pretty bad at this whole being married thing" she said lightly as she stayed leaning against him, being so close to him now made her feel safe and secure instead of alone and sad like she had been feeling every time she was around him before.

Resting the back of her head against his shoulder Grace sighed softly, "But...you know, we can give being married a proper try" Grace said as she moved her head a little and placed a soft kiss on his neck.

He tilted his head, allowed her access to his throat. Every time her lips touched him it sent another bout of pleasurable heat coursing like energy shots through him. He smiled and nodded, she had a point there was no other way to handle it. They were married they would be for a while. It was a smart call to act on. It and enjoy the moment while they had it.

"What made you change your mind?" He asked on a whisper his arms wrapped her in a gentle embrace.He wanted that too he expressed with the action. More than she'd ever know. The arguing and icy demeanor he'd been holding up wasn't helping. So he decided it was about time. He was glad she was on board.

Grace placed her hands on top of his arms when he wrapped them around her in a gentle embrace, she was loving the feeling of the warm water running over the two of them while he was holding onto her. "You did" she said softly as she started tracing her fingers along his arms lightly, "You actually took interest in me for the first time the other day".

"What made you change your mind?" she asked softly wanting to know what had changed to make him actually take up the role of a proper husband instead of continuing to be distant from her and lock himself away with his work, it felt nice having him around her more often these past couple of days but Grace knew he couldn't stay at home all of the time.

Ronan nodded and rested his chin over her head. She had the right of it. Since the very get go he hasn't been exactly husband of the year. He shouldn't have been so distant with her but supportive. At least he came to realize it before it's too late.

"I just want peace. And if it begins here than I'm all for it."

Grace closed her eyes feeling him rest his chin on her head, it felt completely right being wrapped in his arms and being so close to him. When he said that he wanted peace she opened her eyes with a small smile, peace was such an easy thing to give him and Grace knew it would make things easier for the two of them.

"Than, lets start it here" Grace said softly as she moved her head so his chin was no longer touching her and she turned around in his arms and lightly wrapped her arms around his neck, "No more ignoring each other or giving each other the cold shoulder" she said before she pressed her lips against his in a gentle kiss. Grace doubted she would ever get enough of touching her lips to his, tasting him and having him to herself.

He nodded in mutual agreement. Kissed her lips with the very passion he reserved for the one he'd. Saved his love for. Because he never shied away from the new and always enjoyed the refreshing feel it granted. She wasn't like the countless suitors that flocked him. She wasn't a flighty one-night-stand only in it for the instant gratifications. She was married. To him. For life.

So the contract ceased to loom over his shoulder. Over the both of them. It's shadow nothing more but a fickle collection of words on documents that held no significance. He's all in.

"I've made many mistakes in my life. I don't want our marriage to be one of them." He said on a breath. He reached for the bottle of body wash. "What do you think of that my wife?" He lathered her chest with massaging fingers, just another excuse for him to touch her wonderful body.

She smiled into the kiss, it felt wonderful having him all to herself. When he said that he didn't want their marriage to be one of the mistakes and she made a small nod of her head, "I don't want it to be a mistake either" Grace said softly, watching as he grabbed a bottle of body wash Grace tipped her head to the side a little and gave him another smile as he lathered her chest.

It felt amazing having him touching her, the simple feeling of his skin against her made her feel complete and content. "It will be nice actually being proper husband and wife" Grace said with a smile as she let Ronan do as he wished while they were in the shower together, once her chest was perfectly lathered up Grace pressed against him with a smirk and placed a light kiss against his neck.

"Couldn't agree more." He smiled at the delicate contact of her petal soft lips against him. Worked his his way down the rest of her body until she was covered in silky sudz. He handed her the body wash and poof ball with a smirk as he rose to his full height, "Your turn." He pressed a kiss to her damp head.

Grace smiled and stayed still as he continued to work his way down her body. When he handed her the body wash and the poof ball she couldn't help but return his smirk, "So it is" she said when he said that it was her turn and kissed her damp head. She decided she was going to tease him somewhat and began to slowly clean him. He was her husband after all, so she could have a little fun with him. Grace knew he needed to get to work but they still had sometime to spend with each other.

Looking up at him Grace gave him a sweet smile as she worked the poof ball lower and lower over his body, she was adoring how kind and gentle he was being and she hoped nothing would happen to make him go back to ignoring her again.
