If I were to join, would I have to use those particular style of pictures? I have several pictures of personified pokemon in different styles. Namely Absol, Arcanine, Umbreon, Luxray, Marowak, Lugia, Zoroark, Garchomp, Mismagius, Typhlosion, Shedinja, Salamence, Glaceon... and then in the style you guys have been using, got a few more. I... have alot, lol.

They don't have to be by that artist, as long as they are gijinka. They can even be shinies, as long as they aren't legendary. I don't know all of those name, but I think that Lugia is the only one that is unacceptable. We already have a Luxray, but don't let that stop you if that's what you want. If you post a character sheet, I'll look it over and point out anything that you might have missed. Saphira's characters are excellent examples. Then, I'd be glad to have you join in!

K. Gimme a bit, I'm struggling to decide. Flip flopping between Arcanine, Shedinja, Absol, and Salamence. Though I could post their pictures here and see what you all think, too.

Go right ahead, I'd be glad to give my opinion, though I think that the ultimate choice should be yours.

Yes, the final decision is mine, but I still like to get opinions when I'm having trouble deciding. Besides, I'm generally a People Pleaser, lol.

I think Arcanine looks amazing, plus Fire would be a good addition to our group. We have an Electric pokemon, Luxray, a Water pokemon, Milotic, a Dark/Poison pokemon, Arbok, and a Normal pokemon, Porygon Z. I vote for her. However, I'm a bit of a pyro, and am biased toward Fire pokemon.
Shedinja has the wonderful ability of Wonder Guard, where any direct attack that it is not weak to does not damage it. However, the bad side of this is that any indirect damage or direct damage that it is weak to, namely Fire, Flying,Rock, Dark, and Ghost, knocks it out immediately. This makes Shedinja a glass cannon. However, this could be very useful in battle. They are wise, intelligent, stealthy and quiet, giving it very good out of combat plusses as well. However, it doesn't have strong attacks, as far as I can see.
Absol is a fan favourite, but it's attack is only so-so. Not bad, but not amazing either. It has a higher chance of critical hits, and is cute.
Salamence are very powerful, with Fire and Dragon moves, few weaknesses, and the ability to fly. However, Salamence are extremely vicious and arrogant. I don't think that one would play well with others.

So, Arcanine is my vote, with Shedinja as a second. Salamence has as big a pro as a con, and I don't think much of Absol. However, Absol's personality, besides the need to warn others of incoming danger, is not dictated, so you could make her a character whose personality makes her a fun character in a roleplay.
Plus, though I don't want to clutter the roleplay with characters, you could play more than one like Sapphira. I would like more people to jump in later, but I don't want to restrict you from playing two characters. I don't think it would be a problem if you were to chose two.



Also, it has occured to me that perhaps we should add Weaknesses to our character sheets. It is not neccessary, as I can keep track of the weaknesses, as long as you remember your characters' as well. Just a thought.

Okay, I'm... probably going to do two now, lol. Arcanine as the first. Now deciding between Shedinja and Absol. Hmm... while Shedinja is interesting, I think I'll go with Absol. I'll get to work on their bio's soon.

Glad to have you! Haunter sounds excellent, and we are becoming a well-rounded group! Please make a character sheet like Saphira's', and you can start posting. I'll look over your sheet, but I don't think it would affect your first post if I notice an error.

Also, I don't want to be fussy, but I'm eager for someone to post. The thread's been up since Wednesday, and no one has posted, yet. T-T I haven't RPed online in a while, so I'm getting hyped up over it, getting back into the game (no pun intended).
