"Of course," the priest grinned, the laughter that followed
deep and robust, and he gestured once more toward the
room's exit. "The priests waiting for you will also return
your sword. They may be hesitant at first, as we normally
don't allow weapons within the walls..."

He paused, as if mulling something rather important over,
but made no mention of it. "You tell them you have been
permitted to carry it by High Priest Urif, and there should
be no problems."

"Yessir." Yami nodded with a smile. He bowed his goodbye before slipping out of the room, suddenly well aware of the presence of the priest who had shown him his way that morning, standing not too far from the door.

"Oh." Yami blinked at the man. "I, uh, take it you listened in then?" he asked, not wanting to seem rude for assuming.
