Background(Personality and History): Yui is a girl who's easily distracted by cute things. She's a crybaby but cheers up easily if she gets some sweets. She eats a lot of sweets but she does not gain any weight as she herself says. In many ways some may say she's a child, and making sure she practices is a problem. When Yui takes good care of something she sleeps with it. When she wants to remember something she forgets everything else. Yui's energy seems to come from cake.

She does not get good grades in school and is easily distracted by trivialities. Yui is clumsy and easily spaces out most of the time. She has her younger sister Ui to take care of her and keep herself in line. She has a very easy-going nature, but has incredible concentration when hyped, though this is only limited to one subject at a time. She will totally neglect any other things in the process, to the point of forgetting anything she has learned beforehand.

Despite all her flaws, Yui is still a fundamentally good-hearted girl who openly expresses love with hugs and adorable nicknames (most notably "Azu-nyan" for Azusa), and once devoted to something she is loyal to a fault, and can display near-genius levels of competenece to the subject of devotion, as shown by her perfect score in the makeup exams to return to the band. She has perfect pitch and is the group's main vocalist, although she is known to forget her lyrics in mid-performance, as well as overdoing things, making her unable to perform sometimes.

In her third year, she becomes the student council president and is also in the same class as the other third year club members. Background(Personality and History): Ui's parents are a dating couple and because of that they are rarely home. Ui is Yui's younger sister by one year. Unlike her older sister, Ui is mature, smart, responsible and handles household chores better. She has an extreme talent for playing the guitar, and became capable of playing with the rest of the light music club band after only a few days of practice. Ui is actually considered as the ultimate groupie for her sister's band and supports them with all her heart. She is in the same class as Azusa and hangs out with her sometimes.

Sometimes, she teaches Yui how to play some parts of the guitar since Yui is not so good in reading music. Once, she pretended to be Yui when Yui was sick with fever but failed because she did not know the nicknames the light music club made.

Background(Personality and History): She is in the same year and class as Ui, and has quite a mysterious demeanor. She is a self-proclaimed novice guitarist who has been playing the guitar since she was in the fourth grade, and her parents are working in a jazz band. She often finds herself bewildered by the tea parties and cosplaying aspects of the club, when she would rather just practice and is curious on how the club is able to play so well despite their problems and lack of practice.

However, she has a certain weakness for cakes and can be calmed down rather easily, sometimes by just being petted. She is constantly hugged by Yui and is nicknamed Azu-nyan (nyan, when suffixed, means cat-like) after trying on a pair of cat ears and meowing.

Despite this, Azusa is not too good with cats. In the band, she looks up to Mio the most due to her maturity and the fact that she is an experienced bassist. She even tries to give Mio chocolate on Valentine's Day.

However, she sometimes unintentionally makes remarks concerning Mio's weaknesses, such as her weight. Since joining, Yui comes to her for advice on playing guitar, as well as maintenance. She gets a tan very easily, even after applying sunscreen.

Background(Personality and History): Tsumugi is a wealthy girl with a gentle and sweet personality. Tsumugi is considered a piano prodigy since she has been playing the piano since she was four and has experience in winning various piano contests. She is the daughter of a company president, and her family has several villas in various places around Japan (and even one in Finland, much to Ritsu, Azusa and Ui's surprise when they try to contact her at home). Since her father also owns a maid café, she often brings confectionery and an assortment of sweets and pastries to the club room, and she diligently makes tea with a tea set which is kept in their club room.

Although she is a sweet and gentle girl, she is often weirdly entranced by the sight of two people ,particularly girls, interacting closely together, sometimes imagining something more risqué in her head (both Mio and Ritsu find this awkward at times). She originally intended to join the choir club, but joins the light music club instead after receiving an invitation and encouragement from both Mio and Ritsu.

Despite her being wealthy, she also tries her hand at a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant. While a lot of things do not bother her, she is fairly conscious about her weight (just like Mio), and she gets a bit anxious when her family's staff start spoiling her friends during villa visits.

She says she chose to play the drums because they are “cool”, but in reality, she admits that she has trouble playing instruments which involve intricate finger movements, such as the bass, guitar and keyboard. She is a childhood friend of Mio and will often tease her whenever she is cowering from something and has the opportunity to do so. Ritsu is always on the go and will stop at nothing for the success of the light music club.

Background(Personality and History): Mio is a member of the light music club. She originally intended to join the literary club, but is forced into the light music club by her childhood friend and the club's drummer, Ritsu Tainaka. She gets excellent grades in school, but is bad with listening to stories involving macabre experiences, and cowers whenever something gross is brought up. While she can be mature and strict sometimes, she gets embarrassed easily, and is often subject to teasing from Ritsu and Sawako, their club adviser.

She cites that she chose bass since it is not the center of attention in the band, unlike the guitarist. Mio is more technical when it comes to music, and Yui often comes to her when she is in need of more guitar tutorials. She writes the club's songs, although they feature some odd lyrics. As she is left-handed, she becomes entranced whenever she sees left-handed instruments.

Due to an unexpected accident in one of their live performances, (tripping over a guitar cord and flashing her panties) she acquired a huge amount of popularity, even a fan club for her is formed (much to her dismay considering the circumstances surrounding it), whose founding member is the former student council president, who also stalks Mio.

Background(Personality and History): An alumna of the school and a former member of the light music club, she does not want people to find out that she was formerly a member of a heavy metal band, thus she covers up by being mild and gentle to her coworkers and especially to students.

She is forced to be the adviser of the light music club, as Ritsu blackmails her after the girls learn of her past.

Though she has a mature and gentle demeanor in the school, Sawako (affectionately addressed as "Sawa-chan" by both Ritsu and Yui) displays a totally different, completely authentic character when she is alone with the light music club. In reality, she is rather wild, lazy and quite an irresponsible teacher who enjoys dressing up the light music club in (sometimes embarrassing) cosplay costumes (like French maid uniforms), much to the dislike of Mio.

She names the club band "After-School Tea Time" (Houkago Tea Time/HTT)after the members take too long deciding on a name themselves. She once momentarily pitches in for Yui with her Gibson Flying V electric guitar.

She becomes the girls' homeroom teacher in their third year, and puts Nodoka and all the band members (except Azusa, since she is a grade lower) in the same class so she does not have to remember as many names.

History: Nothing is known of Akiko's past. She won't talk about it, and nobody asks. No information is known of who Nayuki's father was, or what happened to him. Personality: Keristrasza is a rather level-headed, calm woman. She can be a bit standoffish to people at times, but is, for the most part, a friendly person, albiet an intimidating one. She has a liking for violence, and a talent for it as well, but while she enjoys bloodshed, needless killing is something she is against. She can sometimes be a bit on the flirtatious side, but it's usually brief, and often subtle to most, aside from her target, who usually will know right away that she is doing it.

She is open about what is on her mind, and what she wants, and modesty is not her concern. Those she cares about will get the privilage of seeing her more playful, silly side. When she is upset, she tends to go silent. When angry, she either yells, or again goes silent. If angry and silent, death is likely to follow.

Restrictions: With her shadow energy, she can make various shapes for defensive purposes(melee and the like) the bigger the object the more they drain. Both of them have the ability to charge for more damage.

Her strength is 45 tons. Speed and reflex wise, she's the mach 2 mark or so. Durability is moderately high physical and energy attacks. Can fight for a full day.

Special Techniques:
Hell Zone: Shrouds the area in black fire, forming a dome-like barrier that blocks out all light, and rapidly raises the inside temperature to extraordinary levels. The edges burn, the black flames clinging to targets and rapidly eating away at them. It's pitch black inside, and all that can be heard is the roaring of fire, and all they can smell is smoke. Keristrasza is immune to this.

Render's Whip: Forms a whip, or more, out of black shadow flames, to attack the enemy.

Purge Volley: Fires multiple black fireballs at the enemy, the flames clinging to targets and being difficult to put out.

Super Techniques:
Purge Bomb: Forms a huge black fireball with shadowy tendrils, that chases the enemy for a limited range, and 'devours' them, pulling them into it's core and imploding.

The Storm Giant: Surrounds herself entirely in black fire and shadows, lashing out with devestating attacks while the firestorm builds around her, until there is a thirty-foot version of herself, made entirely of black flames and shadows, with her actual body at the center. Fights for her.

Burning Legion: Named mockingly after the evil 'Burning Legion', who once sent a small invading force to the Demon Realm. Those that attacked the Bleeding Plains were wiped out with this move when Keristasza created it. She forms a small army of doppleganger's of herself, all made of black fire and shadow. They are just as fast as her, though her total strength is divided among them. (If there are two dopplegangers, they will be half as strong; three of them, a third as strong, etc.) They can only use abilities if there are two or less. Three or more, they can only attack physically.

Dark Flare: Similar to 'Purge Bomb', she forms a massive fireball with shadowy tendrils, but instead of chasing the enemy, she condenses it down to the size of a marble, clenching it in her fist. She then can release it whenever she wishes by opening that hand. When she does, it fires a beam of pure shadow and black fire. The beam is fifteen feet wide, and can be aimed even while firing. Can destroy a city block with ease, carve through a mountain or, if something stops it, explodes with enough force to make a mile-wide crater. Requires her to sacrifice blood, knocks her out afterward, leaving her defenseless, for three days.

Mistress of the Black Flame(Demon Form): Keristrasza becomes a sort of embodiment of her powers. She becomes shade-like, turning jet black, with no defining features other than her silhouette, glowing red eyes crying blood, and an ever-present, unsettling grin. Black flames cover her, and her physical stats are doubled. She seems berserk and insane, laughing hysterically most of the time, yet still recognizes friend from foe.

History: Keristrasza, from a young age, knew no home. She knew only her mother, Delphine, a warrior wielding sword and fire, who took her from one place to the next every day, never stopping for more than a day. This was her life, from as early as she could remember, to the age of five, when they stopped briefly in the hidden city of Qaldkxdaak, or 'Worldblood' in the common tongue. They had stumbled across it purely on accident, and the local residents, the blood-red skinned Wyos Xdaak, or 'Heat Blood', at first did not take kindly to the intrusion upon their hidden, sacred land.

The Wyos Xdaak warmed to them, however, upon seeing the scared Keristrasza, and allowed them entrance to the city, if only for a day. Keristrasza would end up staying for far longer. Qaldkxdaak was the only city in the Wyos Xdaak kingdom. There were smaller villages, but that was it. The land rested in the 'bowl' of an enormous, ancient volcano. There was some ancient magic at work, as the land, the Xdyykefr Hdoefz, or 'Bleeding Plains', was a lush grassland, with rivers and lakes of water and lava all over. A perpetual, thick mist hung over the 'rim' of the volcano, hiding the kingdom from sight, and blotting out the sun for those below. Animals roamed the land, and the Wyos Xdaak were a strange, but pleasant people. They loved to fight, draw blood; yet killing remained a crime, and attacking another person without provocation or first issuing a challenge was as well. They were peaceful in their violence.

However, despite the relative peace they lived in, there was one very large threat to their well being. Feral dragons. More specifically, a local Akantor. It had never attacked the city, but villages had been destroyed in the past. It seemed content to leave the city alone, having passed close by before. Until a foolhardy hunting party attempted to kill it in revenge for one of the nearby villages. The Akantor ended up following the surviving hunters back to the city. This was the morning after Keristrasza and Delphine arrived.

They were leaving when the Akantor attacked, and though she wanted to stick to the rule of leaving a place the next morning, Delphine could not just leave these people to their fate. And so she made a decision that changed everything.

Delphine managed to drive the Akantor off, but in the process, lost her own life. Out of respect for the woman who had selflessly given her life for them, they not only erected a statue of her, held a three day festival in her honor(which is still done annually), but the leader of the Wyos Xdaak, Aska Lithvir, adopted Keristrasza.

Born severely anemic, Keristrasza required more blood than usual for even a vampire, so life could be difficult for her at times, but she was well loved by her new family and people. However, as many people who live in the 'Bleeding Plains' but are not native to there, she developed a condition the Wyos Xdaak call Lyk Xlyosw, or 'Red Breath', in which she will experience chest pains and cough up blood. It is not life threatening, but it did make things more difficult for her.

As Keristrasza grew, so did her inherent powers. Her manipulation of shadows and black flames astounded the Wyos Xdaak, who started to see her as being sent to them by Vashka, and when she began to make it a habit to help people in trouble, including saving lives, they began to see her as a protector. Then, one day, the Akantor returned, and for the first time, Keristrasza entered into her 'demon form'. After killing the Akantor, the people began to call her the Tezslyzz ab swy Xdopn Bdoty, or 'Mistress of the Black Flame'. She was officially named as the guardian of Qaldkxdaak.

Things have been peaceful since then, aside from minor incidents here or there, and Keristrasza has spent that time living her life. She was married, once. Briefly. It ended when it was discovered that it was not only difficult, but dangerous for Keristrasza to get pregnant. She almost died during childbirth, and her husband, Lokir, was presented with a heartbreaking choice. Keristrasza, or the baby. He chose Keristrasza.

In the following months, Keristrasza was heartbroken, confused, and Lokir couldn't handle his own guilt. The marriage broke up peacefully shortly after, though they don't talk anymore, especially since Lokir remarried five years later. Keristrasza never remarried.

She has returned to her normal self over the years, and while she still has nightmares about events in her past, she has mostly recovered, and now just wants to live her life, and hopefully have the chance at a family of her own again.

History: Arcania was originally a Police Dog, who was infected during an attempted raid on a Team Rocket base. The raid was a failure, and Arcania was injured and infected in the escaped. Upon becoming Changed, and hearing of the Changed being kidnapped, Arcania's Trainer and partner felt it best that Arcania go into hiding, releasing her and telling her to flee for the mountains. Arcania did so, honoring her Trainer's last command.

However, once there, though able to easily avoid capture, she became restless, and hated hiding while others were fighting Team Rocket and getting hurt. Her protective nature and training could not be ignored, and Arcania took to coming to the aid of others, Pokemon and people alike, and even offering brief refuge. Arcania has become a bit of a folk hero; tales of a beautiful woman, or a powerful Arcanine, or even of a beautiful woman with a powerful Arcanine, living in the mountains and protecting the weak have traveled far. The Rockets have tried to find and capture her.

Here, Sola was returned her freedom to do as she wished. In the end, she chose to stay and help Arcania, as the two of them knew the mountains better than most, and she felt she owed it to Arcania. The two have become friends, Sola being the 'silent partner' in their efforts to protect others.
