XCom for Xbox 360

Playing XCOM for Xbox 360...awesome game. Have always been a big fan of turn based games, but this is a creepy game. Anyone else played or are playing it?[strike]

I would be happy to. XCOM: Enemy Unknown by Fraxis Games, is a turn based strategy game split off of 2K Marin's XCOM. It's basically a story of an alien invasion of Earth, and the only thing trying to stop them is the mysterious multinational agency known as XCOM.

The story is intriguing as you have find out what the Aliens are after, trying to keep the citizens of Earth from panicing by doing global satellite scans for any extraterrestrial activity such as abductions, UFO attacks and outright human killings/mutilations.

The gameplay is turned based as you command of soldiers numbering from 4-6 squadmates. Which you must plan your attack accordingly or the lives of your troops will be in jeopardy...and a soldier lost diminishes your available assests. You can also collect alien technology/bodies to help with better weapons, armor, and autopsy examinations for a better understanding of alien anatomy.

It's a really great game. If you're curious about the game, I highly recommend trying the demo first to get a feel for the game.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown was originally released on PC back in 1994. This is a remake with some new tweaks and better story line.
