[A Hunting We Will Go.]

That was certainly something that separated them. Zero did care for other species and he didn't see it right for other creatures to be killed, but knew that if it had to happen the what must be done is done. Maybe they will come back as something else and choose a different path than in this life. A small smirk appeared on his face though as she had asked how he could feel bad for it.

He didn't say why though and just kept his answer to that to himself. "Well now calm yourself." while she was bothered by the smell, he wasn't. Over the years he come across thing's that smelled worse. "There are several means, but something quick and scentless I presume is in order."

Crossing his arm's he put on a look like he was thinking, rather purposely wanting to waste time just to let his partner suffer the smell. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small box. "We can use this little contraption." Opening the box it was a couple of bullets that had green tips. "It's something the R&D division had been working on." He pulled out one bullet and handed it to his partner. "Without boring you with the technicalities of it, what it essentially does is turns the dead body to ashes. So Why don't you give it a shot. This would be a nice test run to see if it works or not."

After handing the bullet over he did take a few steps back from the dead demon.

He took an added extra step when his partner told him he may wanna take another step back. It was, in all honesty, amusing to see her react as such to new toys. The bullet itself was something that was a bit of a mix where science met magic, to be precise, holy magic. All along the bullets were holy scriptures to which it combined into a spell and activated one the gun's hammer smacked to the back of the bullet and ignited the gun powder inside, which that to was made of a different material. All in all it would be quite affected against demon's and heavily effective against the undead.

Before she even pulled the trigger. "You may wanna cover your eyes." To which he put on his steampunk goggles. The reaction of when the bullet activates ones the trigger is pulled activates the spell to which is causes a circular charm to float about the gun's barrel for a moment before glowing brightly and firing out. The recoil might have also been intensified as well.

This was still a test run so Zero was quite curious to how it would work out. It was quite the curious thing when priest's and scientists worked together towards a similar goal. This 'Holy' bullet being the first of their collaboration projects.

As the trigger was pulled the scriptures engraved into the bullet would light up and and then energy flew outward from the barrel and the scriptures began floating around the barrel of the gun. For a moment they organized themselves into the proper order and then began to spin before suddenly glowing very brightly and firing out the barrel and into the dead creature.

The gun's tip end was glowing red from the intense heat that the bullet had given off, but it didn't break or melt. The recoil was still felt as the recoil dealt with the kickback of the gun, but the gun did handle the strength of the spell so it didn't explode apart.

As for what happened to the body, when the light had faded the body was gone. The spell seemed to have worked just fine and all that remained was just mere ashes of what use to be there.

Pulling his goggles down so that they would just casually hang off of his neck he would respond. "The symbols are holy scriptures. Blessing's as you would call it. The priest's we worked with on these would just say the words of 'God'..." Zero made quotation marks with his fingers when he said God and then placed his hands into his pockets. "That was just a prototype, though I am impressed with how well it worked. Though we do have some more, but not enough that we can just hand them out to everyone so they can use it as they please. So for now it's only going to be used during clean up." The process into making these bullets took so long and the strain on the priest's left them heavily drain that they were only capable of blessing ten bullets.

"So we only have nine left." Zero had them in that little box he kept in his pocket. "Now then lets get going. I'll inform a cleaning crew to come and pick up the ashes." From his other pocket he pulled out a cellphone dialed a number. Once the other person picked up Zero spoke. "We're done here. Nothing but ashes left. Come pick them up....Yes...yes... Correct that's the location. Very well, farewell." Zero looked to Madeline. "Let's go, they're on their way."

From there he would turn and leave. "Remind me, Where's our next mission at again?"

Strange maulings, huh? He pondered a moment before giving a glance to his partner and nodding his head. "Very well, let's get moving then." Placing his hands into his pockets he proceeded to head out from their current location. They only fought a minion that had been terrorizing the area, key word in this was minion, though for now he wouldn't be too concerned about it, but he also wasn't simply just going to forget about it, there was peace...for now in this area.

"Madeline, during my hiatus, has anything interesting occurred? Or did thing's keep the same as usual?" He was just merely curious about any changed that may have occurred while he was away. At the same time it was a conversation starter to pass the time as they left from the building they were in.

Ooc: It's fine, your health come's before anything else.

The lieutenant had been taking over since the Captain's fallen ill? Well that was interesting indeed, though he didn't care much for the others so long as he got to do his job and he wasn't bothered by it. Though it did come as a curiosity to him now that it had been brought to his attention. "Why is that?" He didn't fancy people, but at the same time he didn't like many either he was on neutral ground's with just about everything. Neither hate nor like, just he didn't like when destruction happened and wanted to prevent catastrophe's from happen.

"What has the Lieutenant been doing exactly?"

Those are some pretty heavy rumors. He gazed at his partner and contemplated on it for a moment. It was a curious thing that since he has gotten back he hasn't seen hide nor hair of the captain. Usually he'd expect the Captain to come complaining to him about some of the experiments they ran, but no, no word from him. It could be a slight cause of concern, if he was that concerned that is. He just shrugged his shoulders and gave a small smirk.

"Maybe when we are done with the assignment's that we have, we will go and pay a visit to our dear sick Captain?" He responded to her in a hushed voice as well.

As they proceeded away from the building, several minutes after their conversation, the rest of the clean up crew had arrived. A vehicle stopping not far from them. "Your vehicle." said the driver as he stepped out and tossed the keys to Zero. The vehicle he has was very retro in appearance, of course it had it's own upgrades inside, but it held a very old looking appearance. With a nice shiny golden paint, clearly it was very well maintained. "Oh joy, finally out the shop are we! We can now arrive much quicker. Come get in."

He could help but snicker at her response on the car and her despise for walking. Merely just shaking his head he would enter his own vehicle after his partner did and revved the car to life. Purring like a kitten as humans would say when the sound of their own vehicles was at a satisfactory level and indicated to them nothing was wrong with the car. He buckled himself in and he drove off.

Driving had considerably shorten the amount of time it would have normally taken them to get to their next assignment. Though it would still be a little while before they would arrive. "How have you been fairing since my hiatus? Done any particularly interesting mission's I should know about?" Of course he could have looked all this up through the network as they kept a report on just about each mission everyone went on, but he still preferred getting the details from the person themselves as sometimes they end up recalling it better when verbally explaining it.

Hearing this news made him response with only a "Hmmm...that is interesting." They had been driving for a while and thankfully for the speed he was driving at it didn't take them all too long to arrive to the outskirts of town. For a second he stopped once the church was within visual sight in the distance. "Hmm...am I the only one getting a bad feeling about that place?" he looked towards his partner a second before shifting his car into gear and taking off for the church. the drive would only last ten minutes before he would stop about a block away. Parking his car in a away just out of view of the street so that it would be hidden from plain sight.

"We shall walk from here..." He unbuckled himself as he put the car into park and turned it off.

After getting out the car he dusted himself off a second before he began walking towards the church. His vision locked upon the building and quickly shifting to the left and to the right making sure that there was nothing that was going to come and surprise them. So far he didn't see anything. He took notice of the age of the building based upon the state of the building, least from what he could see at this distance.

He pulled out his gun from his hostler and he checked the magazine before loading it back into his gun and from his pocket he pulled out a silencer and attached it to his handgun. He cocked the gun and held it in his left hand. he had to be ready as well.
