yeah, you should watch it all the way through, I warn you though you will cry, A LOT!
Key makes some amazingly beautiful anime, but man do they like to just tear your heart out, throw it into traffic, then step on it a bit.
First season is mostly just funny as hell till the extra episode at the end (Tomoyo arc) After Story is one big emotional roller coaster and I think I cried through like 2/3 of it ;_;
Pretty sure you have no soul if After Story doesn't bring you to tears

I'm long overdue for an anime like that! I've been watching so many comedies, I feel like Clannad would be refreshing to watch. I've been needing a feel-good-but-heart-wrenching anime in my life.
I know Clannad after story is on netflix, but I don't think Clannad is. I'll have to check.
