And So It Began...

Fast cars and loose women. That was what men seemed to like, and so women like Zira Vitali capitalized on it. Once making a killing as a model herself, she retired at the tender age of twenty-two, under 'mysterious circumstances', only to immediately became a manager to the very models that had once been her peers. No questions about her sudden retirement as a model were ever answered with anything other than a strange, sly smile, and the stock phrase of 'No comment.'

Now, pulling the strings, Zira was a veritable tyrant in any boardroom negotiation, tending to negotiate not only the best deal for her clients, but ones they might not even deserve. More than that, her attitude and behavior baffled people. She came across almost as a loud, promiscuous idiot, yet showed time and time again that she was savvy in the dog-eat-dog world of fashion and modeling, and tended to outsmart and outmaneuver people with far more experience than her. Despite rumors of her 'loose' morals, and there was no evidence to support it, aside from perhaps her manner of attire.

Still, every person she had ever worked with would later agree that they would never, ever want to go against her in anything, seeming almost frightened by the prospect. And now she had a new fish on the hook, a new client all her own. Not to mention all the fun to be had. As such, when she practically barged into the meeting room and set her eyes on DeAnna, she grinned a bit wickedly, plucking her cigarette from her lips and tapping the dangling ashes into a nearby potted plant before putting it back and holding out her other hand to shake. "Ah, Ms. Boudelaire. Such a pleasure to meet you, my dear. My client will be along shortly. Until then, I'm Zira Vitali. I suspect we will be working very closely for awhile..." The seductive edge to her tone was evident, and wholly inappropriate, but that was Zira.

'Enjoy things while they last, dear. Things are about to get... rough....'

Zira chuckled to herself, sauntering over to DeAnna and looking her over, though kept her hands to herself for now. "I've been working for the company since I was nineteen, but I only started working as a manager when I was twenty-two. I'm twenty-four now, so you can do the math, dear. Hm... yes, you'll do nicely. Very nicely...." She circled DeAnna much like a predator, chuckling to herself a bit, before eventually taking a seat, to wait for the others to arrive.
