General Discussion

Since these are generally a good thing to have I though I'd add one here ^^

First off, sorry I've been slow to post, but I've been busy with my own RP, Forsaken, I do have an idea in my head that I should have up tonight.

Also if anyone wants to check out My RP, we could really use more people, only 3 of us pushing the story along at this point in time.

This is sort of a new style of posting for me too, so if I'm doing it wrong just poke me or something haha, used to having more control and playing multiple characters, ( I have 5 right now in Forsaken ^^; )

Anyways, just use this topic for general RP discussion I guess

I know what you mean, Im usually more creative at night. Im such a night owl, but I have to go to bed early now or I keep my boyfriend up. Bah. I also wish I didnt have memory issues. I'll be sitting somewhere without a computer and think of an excellent twist or important plot part- and then just forget by the time I make it to a computer.

XD I know I've woken up at like 6 in the morning and run to my comp before to write something down. when inspiration hits, roll with it

Isn't it great when inspiration hits? I get some of those moments at work, when i don't have anywhere to write them down and it sucks. It's like when you wake up from a particularly amazin dream, and you try to write it down and by the time you find a pen and paper, you've lost most or all of it to the aether, never to be found again. I sometimes wish for an eidetic memory so I wouldn't lose some of my best ideas

Yeah I find that just about anything can set it off. Sudden memories especially. But hell, even sometimes noises and smells can trigger an idea. I get random ideas all the time, characters, storylines, even simple plot devices, but I forget most of them before I can commit them to paper. I do always try to keep a pen and paper next to my pillow on my bed so if i get an idea when I'm going to sleep or waking up I can jot it down quickly.

Haha, yeah- Im the same way. I have short term memory issues, but I think its because I think too much. My mind never shuts off. XD I only remember my dreams if I wake up on my own without alarms and what not, then I dont have a distraction and I can remember what I was dreaming about. Though not like it matters, my dreams make no sense whats so ever usually.

Sorry for not posting a lot recently, been busy with teh school =x

Was thinking about bringing back one of my old RP's in here and seeing how the story turns out with a different set of hands at the wheel.

Now it's a big, open ended sci-fi RP that had 7 people in it the first time around, with each person usually controlling 2 or more characters, ended up being pretty epic until the Myspace group we had it in got shut down for some reason =x

I will of course be posting up the like, page and a half of backstory I have if I bring it here, you know, for world development and all that good stuff XD

Not sure weather to post it in the normal RP section or the mature RP section since it can get pretty dark and some characters (namely Grim and Sturm) have some pretty foul mouths

I'd say rated M for Foul Language, Cosmic Mischief, Deep Space Debauchery, and Hyperactive Nekomimi <3

Oh, and I think I might start bringing over a re-vamped version of the Dark World RP I mentioned earlier, hope we have some fellow sci-fi buffs in here ^^;

Awesome, I'm working on my character bios now, and after that I'll get to work on cleaning up some of the backstory and world/legend building elements from the original RP, we had a really awesome thing going before the creator vanished and a short while later myspace ate the group it was hosted in =x

Yeah I tried the whole move my story to this rp site and nones gone on it. Fma is truely dead now.(cry sniff sniff) anyway. I think that the space thing is a great idea too. My mind does the same thing,never shutting off, so Im a night owl too. Im only awake now because I have to go to wk in the afternoon and the library is halfway between the place I work and my house. So I get a ride here and then walk to the workplace. I wish I had internet at my house.
