I can't seem to find the place, if there is one, where I can do anything with my profile, like add a picture and such things. Am i just being silly and missing something really obvious, or is this something to come later? I know I'm going to feel silly if I've simply missed it, but I'm not above being silly from time to time so that's ok.

Oh no, you're not being silly at all! It took me forever to find out how to play around with my profile, and I'm the one who created the site! Lol.

Okay, so since I'm an admin I can just go to users and profiles and all that to edit them. Since you're a member, however, here's what I think you can do:

1.) Click on your username (like in a previous post you've made or something like that).
2.) Once you get there, check the area where your avatar would be displayed. It's underneath the words "Forum Presence."
3.) Underneath where your avatar would show are two options, "Profile" and "Ban this Member."
4.) Now of course we don't want to ban you, so click on the profile link and it should take you to configure your profile.

I do hope that's helpful to you! If it doesn't happen to work out, however, just let me know and I'll figure something else out.

I guess it's because I'm a user and not an admin, but I don't have the "profile" or "ban this member options when I view my profile. I went to the forumotion general support site and it says there's supposed to be a top toolbar with profile as one of the options, but i don't see that here. It's not that important, I mean it doesn't stop me roleplaying.

Huh, that is weird...it might just be the layout I chose for the site. I'll talk to the other admins and see if I can figure a way out for you, and if not I can probably just change the layout. Sorry about that!

Do you have an avatar meanwhile you wanna post up that I can upload to your profile for you? I can do that if you want.

Haha, no. No monkey phobias here.

And if you have it posted up to photobucket (or some other picture hosting site) you can post it up by copying its image link.

Thanks for the help, now I have my cymbal monkey, though i couldn't find the one I prefer. Ah well, tis better than nothing Smile
